An Outdoor Coupler Unit (OCU) is described to combine or split, transmit and receive microwave signals from multiple Outdoor Units (ODUs). The OCU has low signal loss by utilizing circulators. The OCU concept allows for system expansion beyond two ODUs if desired, and can be placed outdoors in close proximity to an antenna or antennas.

A system for implementing VoIP over a cloud-based network includes a first edge proxy server operatively connected to a plurality of target proxy servers to receive resource information from one or more of the target proxy servers. Each target proxy server is associated with the cloud-based network. A first endpoint is operatively connected to the first edge proxy server and is configured for voice communications with a second endpoint. The voice communications are facilitated by the first edge proxy server using the received resource information.

A method of processing the measurements of the user equipment (UE) antenna pattern for Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) Over-the-Air (OTA) testing consistent with the UE performing antenna pattern measurements using radiated test methods subsequent to conducted testing where the measured radiation pattern is then utilized. The method involves antenna pattern measurements which do not take into consideration the impact of radiated interference. For the MIMO OTA method it is necessary to estimate UE self-interference so that it can be accounted for during one phase of the throughput measurement process. A preferred method and a system in a packet switched data transfer system for antenna pattern measurements. A multiple Rx antenna UE is provided. A multiple Rx antenna UE includes a processor configured to promote antenna pattern measurements of a signal strength from a network component to the multiple Rx antenna UE. The signal strength of the advanced technology based network is measured when no user data is being transmitted. The invention deals with at least two different measurements: UE received power and relative phase measurements for multiple Rx antenna UEs.


A method of providing multiple voltage references to a radio-frequency device using a single analog line includes the steps of setting the analog line voltage level to be a first reference voltage signal; instructing a first voltage reference device to memorize the first reference voltage signal by sending a first digital control signal to a digital line; providing the first reference voltage signal to the RF device via the first voltage reference device; re-setting the analog line voltage level to be a second reference voltage signal; instructing a second voltage reference device to memorize the second reference voltage signal by sending a second digital control signal to the digital line, the second digital control signal being different from the first digital control signal; and providing the second reference voltage signal to the RF device via the second voltage reference device.
