This paper presents an algorithm for the reconstruction of digital color image component signals corrupted by impulse noise by exploiting interchannel redundancy. Results of numerical studies have shown that intercomponent gradient reconstruction is superior to median filtering in the accuracy of reconstruction of lost or corrupted color image elements. Processing of a three-component digital color image has shown the efficiency of the proposed algorithm. © 2014 Allerton Press, Inc.

The need to take into account the dynamic error of optical trajectory measurement stations in order to increase the precision with which the flight trajectory of aircraft is determined, is evaluated. An algorithm for determining the dynamic error is presented and a calculation of the dynamic error for an optoelectronic station is given. © 2011 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc.

A problem of finding probabilistic characteristics of a queueing system, with its dynamics described by a non-Markovian chain with finite number of states, is considered. Exact and approximate solutions that rely on the theory of systems with random jump structure are found. The queuing system is described by a dynamic system with conditionally Markovian random structure. The proposed approach is used to obtain an approximate solution to the applied problem of probabilistic analysis of recovery of aircraft during combat. © 2013 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

Radical copolymerization of N-vinylcaprolactam with 1-vinyl- and 1-methacryloyl-3,5-dimethylpyrazole was performed with the aim of development of effective extraction systems based on nontoxic copolymers for the recovery of essential amino acids histidine, threonine, and tryptophan from aqueous media. Water-soluble and water-insoluble products were obtained. As follows from the copolymerization data, N-vinylcaprolactam exhibits relatively high activity, and the copolymerization constants r1 and r2 for both pairs of comonomers are lower than unity. The influence of the composition and structure of copolymers on the quantitative characteristics (degree of recovery R and distribution coefficient D) of liquid- and solid-phase extraction was studied. The probable mechanism of the interaction of the polymers with α-amino acids was considered. The synthesized copolymers show high performance in recovery of α-amino acids from aqueous media. © 2016, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

Accuracy of stereoscopic navigation system designated for solution of problems of high accuracy navigation, guidance, and remote landscape probing is estimated. Linearization of photometric equations of the stereoscopic navigation system in the regime of stabilized horizontal flight of an aircraft is performed. Observation equations of the stereoscopic navigation system with account of the only stereo pair and a set of stereo images are determined. New algorithms of image processing in the stereoscopic navigation system based on the following two proved results: direct and inverse photogrammetry equations and the theory of joint optimal filtering, identification, and verification of hypotheses in a discrete dynamic system, are used to obtain formulas characterizing the accuracy of the stereoscopic navigation system in flights above natural landscapes and urban land. A new class of models of the chemical dynamics of closed systems, quasi-gradient models, is suggested. According to these models, the evolution of a chemically reacting system to the equilibrium state occurs along a thermodynamic potential gradient with an accuracy to a positive definite multiplier. © 2012 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
