Acquisition and analysis of pressure fluctuation signal of wind cap which is a new method was proposed to realize the condition monitoring of gas-solid flow in fluidized bed. Under the different superficial gas velocity, bed material particle size distribution and static bed height, the pressure fluctuation signal of wind cap in the cold bubbling fluidized bed test rig was analyzed with the wavelet analysis method. Then, the energy of reconstructed signals at different levels and the ratio of energy at different levels to the total energy could be calculated, the main frequencies of signals could be obtained with Welch method for power spectrum estimation. Finally, the influence of the operating conditions change on the characteristic pressure fluctuation in wind cap of bubbling fluidized bed was analyzed. It is finded that the variation of the low-frequency reconstructed signals are related with the variation of the gas-solid flow condition under the operating conditions change. So the proposed method is proved to be practical and the research achievement can be used as theoretical basis for the characteristic pressure fluctuation in wind cap of circulating fluidized bed. © 2011 Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering. With our country's labor cost increase and forestry operations to improve the degree of automation, the automatic picking device will be gradually adopted to pick fruit in the future. This paper discusses the design process of intelligent mobile platform, five axis manipulator, end effector, electrical control device which belong to the automatic fruit picking device. The device is installed in the automatic navigation system and visual identity system, can accurately locate the position and pick fruit. The CAD/CAE software device was mainly used to design and analysis model, and design efficiency, feasibility and scientific were improved. According to the current development trend of fruit species gradually increased, the manipulator hand can adjust, which can pick the different shapes of fruits, and is installed with a visual sensor, pressure sensor, position sensor in the manipulator, and the finger stress analysis was made. In addition, the application of S7-200 model of PLC and pneumatic technology is used in the picking device, so that the overall structure is compact, more stable. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. Enzymes have already been extensively applied to degrade various organic pollutants in industrial wastewater, and how to improve the stability and reusability of the enzymes is critical to their practical application. In this study, poly(glycidyl methacrylate-methacrylic acid), poly(GMA-MAA), microspheres were prepared by suspension polymerization, and were used as a new support to immobilize Trametes versicolor laccase. The maximum loading capacity to immobilize enzyme reached as high as 44.78 mg protein/g support. The stability and reusability of laccase were greatly improved after immobilization on the microspheres. While the immobilized laccase was used as catalyst to remove p-benzenediol from wastewater, the removal efficiency reached 88.5%. © IWA Publishing 2013. Source

This paper presents an experimental study and numerical simulations of the flow in an energy dissipator of Y-shape flaring gate pier, stepped spillway, and stilling basin. The flaring gate pier, if with an unreasonable lateral contraction in flood releasing conditions, often produces water splashes that jump over the sidewalls. Three different shapes of sidewall flaring pier were experimentally tested and compared for their overall flow pattern, water wings behind pier, overflow surface pressure, pressure on stilling, and velocity distribution. Results reveal that the flow patterns and energy dissipation in the stilling basin are good when the flaring piers take contraction angles of 19.03° and 17.07°, 19.98° and 13.80°, or 19.98° and 7.0°. And water splashing over the sidewalls can be avoided with the angles of 19.98° and 7.0°. ©, 2014, 10031243 Tsinghua University Press. All right reserved. Source

People pay more and more attention on the fine particle pollution in the air with the improvement of environmental awareness. Coal-fired power plant is an important source of the fine particle emissions. The principles of three dedusting methods applied in coal-fired power plants were explained, which were electrostatic precipitator, bag deduster and composite electrostatic-bag precipitator. In addition, PM2.5 removal efficiency of three dedusting methods was analyzed and discussed based on the test results. The experiment, with the "AFC-131"test rig, was carried out on dedusting performance of typical filters, to study the effect of pressure drop of filters on the emission characteristics of PPS filter material of different processing technology and posttreatment. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
