Under the observation of microscope, the scale is processed when the wool is treated to shrink-proof. After actual measurement, the fineness of the wool fiber goes thinner than untreated wool. Even for the same count of the wool, treated wool has more fibers on its yarn cross section, while the number of fibers on the cross section would then affect the CV value of the yarn itself. After analysis of the lab data which is to find the relationship of the CV value between treated wool and untreated wool of the same count, by applying linear regression equation in mathematical statistics, it's found that treated wool yarn is 0. 935 times plus 0. 6 of the untreated wool yarn. This finding will have direct guiding significance to the quality control in manufacturing. Source

This study is designed to the effect of the dyeing and washing on the oligomers residues of PTT fiber. According to the actual production of worsted knitting yarn, in the analysis of the oligomers residues of PTT fiber on the effect of blending, recombing and spinning technolgy, to the characteristics of PTT and oligomers, comprehensive analysis of differences between acidic and alkaline dyeing, and solved the key problems of dyes selection. The experimental results show that, the new dyeing technology can effectively eli minate oligomer, improve the dyeing quality of PTT fiber strips, realize the normal production of new yarn. Source

This article explores the processing parameters of 60 Nm 65% wool/35% PP yam. Based on the understanding of the properties of the different materials, it chooses proper ratio of materials to meet product requirements and optimizes processing stages, digs into production difficulties and finds out solutions by looking into its re-combing, drawing, roving, spinning and winding. At the same time, the temperature and humidity affect the whole production process and quality, so it is very important to control them at reasonable levels. By doing so, the commercial production can be controlled very well. After a testing review, all the products are in good quality and can meet customer requirements. Source

It is difficult to spin high percentage of silk blend with cashmere yarns. Considering the characteristics of cashmere fiber and silk, this article tells us how to solve the problems during processing such kinds of yarn. The key points are the right choice of material, lubricant oil and processing parameters. It takes smaller drafting times, less blending, lighter weight of slivers. After adding lubricant oil, the fiber has been rested for more than 8 hours for further processing. The higher and stable humidity in pre-spinning and lower humidity after-spinning is also adopted.
