A noise immunity automatic test method for analog acquisition module of control system based on virtual instrument is proposed. The traditional method is too complicated and inefficient. This paper designs a set of efficient common and series mode noise immunity automatic test system based on virtual instrument. Through the programmable function of virtual instrument we develop test processes such as signal source input, disturbance exerting, data acquisition, data recording and dynamic analysis, and test report can be generated automatically. The experimental results show that the common and series mode noise immunity automatic test system based on virtual instrument can work continuously for a long time, and can do multi-channel parallel test, which significantly improves the test efficiency. © 2013 IEEE.

In order to improve the anti-radiations performance of space optical communication system, the effects of laser diodes radiation damage on bit error rate of space optical communication system was discussed. On the basis, the impact models of laser diodes cumulative radiation damage on the bit error rate of space optical communication system were further deduced. Simulation was compeleted. The result shows that radiation induces linear decrease of laser diodes output power. Bit error rate can be neglected when radiation dose is lower than 1000 Gy. The influence of radiation on bit error rate increases rapidly when radiation dose is larger than 3000 Gy. Adjusting bit error rate appropriately is an effective measures to improve anti-radiation performance. The theoretical results provide reference for the space optical communications applications.

This paper proposed a small size heliostat that was self-powered and realized zenith-azimuth sun-tracking intelligently. It implemented the real-time and efficient track of the sun with the low-power microcontroller, and had wireless communication between the microcontroller and the central server based on wireless technology. The two-axis motors of heliostats achieved power-driving and sustainable operation with PV modules and rechargeable batteries. Moreover, the interval sun-tracking of the heliostat was optimized to guarantee the system operating in the low-power state. Through theoretical analysis and simulation, self-powered and intelligent-tracking properties of the maximum area heliostat with a mirror of 3 m2 were validated.

To achieve precise time synchronization in line-topology or ring-topology Computer Numerical Control (CNC) system, time synchronization precision exceeded the microsecond level with time synchronization level increase should be solved. The time synchronization between two nodes was accomplished by Network Time Protocol (NTP) algorithm. The relay nodes used transparent clock algorithm, all time synchronization messages were restored in relay nodes for a definite time. Effect of deviation of crystal oscillator in relay nodes on precision was reduced. The accumulated deviation of all nodes was decreased. Theoretical analysis and experimental results showed that, this algorithm reduced the jitter of time synchronization and achieved higher level of precise time synchronization in CNC system.

This paper presents a control network redundant scheme, which is based on two redundant networks. Senders introduce message ID into standard Ethernet frame and send same messages on both networks at the same time. Receivers discard duplicates using message ID with bumpless recovery. By analyzing received network-diagnosis messages, the nodes diagnose networks mutually and maintain network status mapping-tables. Messages are classified into two main kinds according to their importance. Less important messages are transmitted separately on two redundant networks when networks work well. In this way, communication loads of both networks are reduced at usual work status. Experimental results show that this scheme improves the availability of the networks.

This paper presents the design scheme of nuclear-1E-class isolation amplifiers for safety shutdown system of nuclear power plants. The scheme adopts the switching power supply technology and the analog power supply techniques to design the power module. And then, the design methods for improving the stability and reliability of the isolation amplifiers is detailed from the point view of anti-interference, the device derating and anti-seismic. Performance validation shows that the product has passed all tests of nuclear-1E-class certification program and satisfies the nuclear 1E requirement, and its reliability and various technical indicators have reached or exceeded the similar foreign products.

The two-phase commit protocol is widely used in distributed database systems to ensure the atomicity of distributed transaction. The traditional two-phase commit protocol fails to solve the blocking problem when the coordinator is out of service. Three-phase non-blocking commit protocol was designed to solve the blocking problem of two phase commit protocol, but it brought heavy communication and log overhead between sites. In today's distributed database systems, due to the growing large number of sites, the failure of single point become more and more often. The traditional commit protocol has become a bottleneck of the system. In this paper, a new non-blocking two-phase commit protocol is proposed to solve the blocking problem. Compared to the traditional three-phase commit protocol, the proposed protocol reduces the log and communication overhead. Theoretical proof has been given to show that the proposed commit protocol is non-blocking and meet the ACID properties under variety of failure conditions. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In this paper, we introduce a new image auto-segmentation algorithm based on PCNN and fuzzy mutual information (FMI). The image was first segmented by PCNN, and then the FMI was used as the optimization criterion to automatically stop the segmentation with the optimal result. The experimental results demonstrated that the CT and ultrasound images could be well segmented by the proposed algorithm with strong robustness against noise. The results suggest that the proposed algorithm can be used for medical image segmentation. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
