The article is the first one that applies the Grubbs method dynamically to the mobile vehicle-based online radiation monitor system. The comparative analysis result shows that the dynamic application of the Grubbs method has improved the quality of the monitor data for the radiation detector in regard of a small sensitivity volume. Gas washing, vapor condensation, vapor freeze and drying are the major sampling methods of tritium in air. A series of experiments were carried out by different sampling instruments using those different sampling methods, in addition with analysis of relative sampling theories, suggestions are given as follow: The vapor freeze method could be used in the sampling of tritium in air around those Nuclear power plants (abbreviated as NPP) which are located in North China where the winter is relatively cold, while the vapor condensation method could be used in the ambient sampling around the NPPs of South China, gas washing method is not recommended to be used in the ambient sampling around the NPPs.
