This note studies the consensus problem of a class of multi-agent systems (MASs) with linear dynamics, where each agent is able to use the specified measurement output (e.g., position) relative to its neighbors at certain sampling instants. It is assumed that the network has switching but jointly-connected topologies in the sense that the union of the associated graphs over a certain time interval always has a spanning tree. Under this assumption, a linear sampled measurement output feedback controller is proposed to achieve full state consensus for a sufficiently small sampling period. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

The paper analyzed the current actualities of the IT application for enterprises, and pointed the main deficient issues existed. Based on the target analysis, it then gave a four-layer architecture of the cloud computing platform for enterprises: physical layer, platform layer, supporting layer and application layer. Meanwhile, it gave the data management and operation mode of the cloud computing platform, as well as its network configuration. Finally, the paper put forward that, once the cloud computing platform structured, it could benefit enterprises to reduce the input cost on IT tremendously, and improve the availability and expandability of IT resources immensely. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.

The efficiency of situation-task teaching of business English in vocational technology colleges is reported in this article. The author analysed the domestic and overseas reference documents on English for specific surposes (ESP) related theories to develop a situation-task teaching approach on the basis of students' needs analysis. Fully applying ESP principles, the author designed teaching stages according to real business situations and real business tasks. Through the comparison and contrast of experimental and control groups, the author found that the situation-task teaching approach is efficient in teaching business English. By creating real situations, the teacher motivates students to use English in real business activities, which can motivate students to learn by doing and improve their English level and communication competence. © 2014 WIETE.

We propose a method in this paper which improves the speed and effects of visualization process in product concept design. In digital product design software, the preview mode and render mode are for simple usage without optimization. The designers need to adjust the view by themselves. To improve the preview result for more usability, we defined a method based on aesthetical rules. The rule defines the virtual camera used in design software in which how target object will be shown. Then it is used to compute the movement of the camera in virtual environment. The movement path is computed automatically among different preview angles for even different preview targets. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

A test-bed used to test electromagnetic eddy current retarder's performance was designed. It can evaluate the connection of automobiles speed, excitation current, rotor temperature and brake torsion. Besides, a series of flywheels were designed which can randomly combine and simulate the running state of the automobiles. The design of flywheel is referred in many machines, not for it can solve the problem of stability, but for providing moment of inertia. © 2011 Trans Tech Publications.

As the reform of optometry teaching gets thorough and developed, the educational technology based on computer technology has played an important role in optometry teaching. The application of three-dimensional simulation in conventional retinoscopy has great significance for improving teaching quality, stimulating learning interest and realizing teaching interaction. This paper analyzed the development, design and realization principle of teaching model of retinoscopy based on three-dimensional simulation together with its application in retinoscopy and suggested that the method was direct and vivid, had strong stereoscopic impression and optimized the teaching of key and difficult points. © 2011 INCDMTM.

In order to meet the diversified needs of the people, the personalized glasses custom design system has operated preliminarily. The personalized glasses custom design system lets designer to design a glasses in accordance with the customer's desire through the consumer communicates with designers. The tailor-made glasses can fulfill all most consumer demand. Metacognition, first proposed by American psychologist Flavell in the 1970s, has become a much discussed topic in educational psychology ever since [1]. It is simply defined as thinking about thinking. On the other hand, reading is claimed to be a guessing game by Goodman [2]. Therefore, the experiment conducted by the author was to investigate the relationship of metacognitive strategy and reading comprehension and metacognitive knowledge. Questionnaires and reading tests were given to English major students in Zhejiang Industry and Trade Vocational College to accomplish a task providing answers to three questions: One is, What is the present status of metacognitive knowledge among higher vocational technology college English-major students in reading? The other is, What are the effects of metacognitive strategy training on reading competence and metacognitive knowledge?; and the third is, How could teachers apply metacognitive strategy in technology education? All the data collected were analysed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) V.20.0. After the experiment, findings were produced. © 2014 WIETE.

The ability of energy harvesting has enhanced sustainability of mobile networks. However, the energy harvesting capability and possibility of nodes are quite different. Namely, energy consumption and harvesting is still not balanced. In this paper, we follow the concept of energy sharing, and bring forward three necessary protocols. Distinguished from other works, we propose two kinds of power cord connection structures. We consider the leakage nature of ultra-capacitors and propose sender initialized method. We also describe energy routing protocol under the condition of NON DC/DC module. We evaluate our methods using a test platform. © 2012 IEEE.
