Along with the arriving of the information era, more and more people begin to utilize network and computers in their job, making it a new popularized living and fashionable trend. As for this, tradition residential buildings are not able to satisfy people's needs of work, while tradition office buildings cannot meet people's needs of living as well. Therefore, a new type of building, which integrates its residential function with working function altogether, is urgently demanded to fulfill the objective requirements of the society. The SOHO people work at home, living in groups, and their jib requirements may change, or bring about new situations along with the development of the era. Correspondingly, the design of SOHO residential unit shall also develop and update with new contents in practice. The paper has made deep analysis and discuss on design of functional spaces in SOHO residential unit. After giving consideration to the living features of SOHO groups, as well as based on the concept of economical usage of buildings, the paper further proposed that, in the design of SOHO residential unit, the interaction and interdependency among the three elements of human beings, facilities and environment shall be systematically studied to play the entire unit to its highest performance. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications.

It is well-known that accurate prediction for network flow is very important to meet the communication requirement of internet network. This study is to propose a novel twin support vector regression algorithm for network flow forecasting. The twin support vector regression algorithm is comprised of a pair of the standard SVR. In order to show the excellent performance of twin support vector regression algorithm compared with other prediction methods. Then, we perform the comparison of the prediction error of network flow between twin support vector regression algorithm and support vector regression algorithm, and the experimental results show that network flow prediction ability of the twin support vector regression algorithm is better than that of support vector regression algorithm. 1548-7741/Copyright © 2014 Binary Information Press.

It is helpful to evaluate whether the functions of a business process can be completed or not, when you build its workflow model beforehand. Especially under cloud computing environment, performance evaluation will benefit businesses for reducing costs and improving efficiency. Hence, workflow modeling of business processes is an important work. In this paper, we stated briefly that some resource deployment and management are separated from the business logic, named as separation property, firstly. Then we identified the shortcomings of the existing modeling techniques by reviewing the literatures. Next, we represent a resource modeling of workflow under cloud computing environment according to the separation property. Semantic Constrained Net based on CPN was then presented for cloud workflow modeling, including formal definition, dynamism semantics, and its graphical description. An example of SCN illustrated its validity. Some experiments have been done to combine several processed into one cooperative process based on SCN.

Grey analyses on Quetelet Index were conducted for men and women players in Chinese Volleyball Association (CVA). The data between 2002 and 2011 were collected from men players at Men's Volleyball First A Tournament, and from women players of Tianjin, Guangdong, Shanghai and Zhejiang teams. The objectives were to investigate the height difference and weight difference among men or women CVA players, to set up a standard model for CVA players by using Quetelet Index, to provide standards and foundation for selecting volleyball athletes and to promote the development of volleyball in China. this paper provides a theoretical foundation for the selection and training of China's volleyball athletes, and provides reference values for China's men volleyball team and women volleyball team to achieve their strategic goals.

There exist many good and praiseworthy achievements in the field of task design and professor Nunan's accomplishment in this field is one of the most prominent. He has not only provided us with a theoretical framework for studying and designing tasks in communicative classroom but also offered a series of practical principles in task design for a comprehensive language course. In China, the study and application of task design is increasingly widespread. However, many teachers still encounter the problem that the tasks well designed in advance can not be carried out smoothly in classroom teaching. Because of the lack of the spirit of working hard for a long time, the ones from vocational college have already transferred their interests to other aspects and English learning is a big headache for them. Therefore, it is urgent for teachers to know how to make task design and task implementation more applicable to English classroom of vocational colleges. Adjusting the task steps and offering psychological implications according to Gestalt psychology theories can increase the realism of the task in psychological field. The unity of two fields can stimulate, maintain and improve the learning interest with which the students can be naturally integrated into the tasks. © 2012 IEEE.

In dioptric media, due to the refraction of probe light in the sample and the mismatch of the optical distance with the actual distance, a major impediment to the use of optical coherence tomography (OCT) is its image distortions. This paper describes ray trace method of geometrical optics algorithm for numerical correction of the unavoidable image distortions in the raw image obtained by fiber based spectral domain OCT system, and theoretically deduces the mapping from the raw image of dioptric media to its actual structure. Experimentally, this method is adopted to correct the image of the glass tube and the anterior segment of human eye. The reconstructed image of the glass tube is coincident with the actual structure, and the measured physiological parameters of the human eye, such as cornea thickness, anterior chamber depth and width, pupil width, curvature radius of front and rear surface of cornea, and curvature radius of front surface of lens, are within the reference ranges given by the model one. The method enables OCT system to be applied to dioptric media containing multiple refraction interfaces, including the imaging of complicated optical system consisting of battery of lenses.

E-derivative [1] has accessed a wide range of applications in these areas and caused academia concerned [1-4], such as detecting faults in combinational circuits, discussing on cryptographic properties of H-Boolean function and revealing the internal structure of Boolean function together with Boolean derivative, thus more effectively analyzing the property of Boolean functions. Referring to the discussion on Boolean derivative and Boolean partial derivative, the concept of e-partial derivative is presented. The definitions and properties of e-partial derivative and high order e-partial derivative are given. We also give their proofs for some properties. Here to introduce a parallel processing video splicing system with multi-processor. The main processor gets the encoded video data from video source and outputs the video data to the coprocessors simultaneously after decoding the data. Those coprocessors capture the video data needed for splicing and display it on the objective monitor. Owing to this method, the sophisticated time synchronization algorithm is no longer needed. The proposed approach also lowers the system resources consuming, and promotes the accuracy of the video synchronization from multiple coprocessors. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
