The working condition of the die-casting die is harsh, so simple structure and reliable operations are primary factors for die-casting design. The complex die casting that needs multi-angle core-pulling in the same slide block was analyzed, and appropriate solutions for die structure were put forward. The motion relationship between the slide blocks during opening and closing of the die-casting die was presented. The motion relationship received a huge simplify in structure design of die casting die. The production experience shows that the double-stage linkage core-pulling mechanism of the die is stable and reliable; it can be used for reference. Source

Structure of ETC throttle valve body, mould structure and scrap occurred in the production were introduced. The feeding system and exhausting system were modified. The injection pressure was decreased by enlarging chamber from 50 mm to 60 mm in diameter. Practical running parameters were measured. It is found that the real injection velocity is lower far away designed parameters. Through adjusting injection velocity, the scrap was decreased. Source

It is difficult to produce bottom hole in two bearings with 35 mm in diameters and 10 mm in length on the transmission shaft bracket by die casting due to its limit of die casting die structure, so the bottom hole was formed by machining operation, which resulted in the occurrence of large gas (shrinkage) hole in worked bearing. Aiming at the features of the bearing, gas (shrinkage) hole was decreased or eliminated by adopting coordinate-ingate and inlay. Source

The reasons of causing oversize of planar profile tolerance of secondary machining for ETC throttle valve body was analyzed carefully, which was attributed to the problems in measuring methods of planar profile tolerance and cutting methods of R base level. Based on amounts of data experiments, through using methods of standardized planar profile tolerance and roughing and finishing for R base level, the defects of oversize of planar profile tolerance can be totally eliminated.
