Soil samples collected from the area of Copper Smelter and Refinery impact zone were mixed with nanoparticles of (MeO)3Si(CH2) 3NH(CH2)2NH(CH2)2NH 2 and extd. with 5 acidic media of increasing acidity to follow the removal of Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd and As of various binding strength. The highest removal degree was achieved for Cd (73.57%), the lowest for As (37.61%).
