A solid phase extraction-high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method. was determined Benzo(a)pyrene in edible oil. The sample was purified and concentrated on a benzo (a) pyrene special solid phase extraction column(SPE)and separated on a Waters reversed phase C18(150 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm)chromatographic column by using a mobile phase composed of acetonitrile and water (95:5, V/V)at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min, with the excitation wavelength of 384 nm, and the emission wavelength of 406 nm. The result showed that benzo(a)pyrene showed good linearity relationship over the concentration range of 0.2~50 μg/kg, a coefficient correlation was 0.999 9, the lowest limit of detection was 0.1 μg/kg, and the precision(RSD) was below 3%, the recovery rate was between 88.6%~101%. The method was rapid, convenient, high accuracy and good reproducibility, and could handle a large number of samples at the same time, and suitable determination for Benzo(a)pyrene in Edible oil. ©, 2015, Editorial Department, Chinese Cereals and Oils Association.
