Some key problems of power dispatching system information construction are discussed. The related research and application of the power dispatching comprehensive data platform is proposed to be promoted to the power dispatching system information. The relationship between the dispatching information and the intelligent dispatching is discussed, the construction mode of the dispatching information is discussed and advised, and the relationship between the dispatching information and the dispatching automation is determined. The dispatching business is summarized and divided, the application functions are mapped from them, the application systems framework is obtained according to the application functions, and some examples are given. The data structure of the dispatching system information is deduced, and an example of the transverse data stream analysis is given.

To meet the requirements of multi-balancing machines' settings and power limitations in interconnecting lines, the measurement functions and the corresponding Jacobian matrix are deduced. And two state estimation algorithms, the entire algorithm and the distributed algorithm, for multi-balancing machines incorporating power limits in interconnecting lines are proposed. In the entire algorithm, the transmission power limits are considered as equality constraints. The calculation model is derived by the Lagrange multiplier method and the state variables in each region are calculated by iterations. In the distributed algorithm, each region is treated separately based on the overlapped distributed method, and the boundary equality constrains are included into the corresponding objective functions. Then, the distributed state estimation is implemented by the Lagrange multiplier method. Numerical examples of IEEE-14, IEEE-30 and IEEE-57 bus test systems are given. The simulation results show that the proposed models are correct and effective. In addition, the calculation speed and precision of the distributed algorithm are higher than those of the entire algorithm.

The framework and functions of a security risk prevention and control system for grid dispatch operation are introduced, which integrates the function modules of PAS into the generation procedure of operation order to form a complete solution, including operation sequence generation, security check, regulation check, operation order translation, automatic simulation, security assessment, assistant decision-making and visualization. The regulation check uses fingerprint identification technology to support the operation sequence review by bottom-layer regulations and the atomic-model-based knowledge base is proposed to support the operating language review by top-layer regulations, based on which, the relevant dispatch regulations of Yunnan Power Grid are summarized to form the knowledge rule base for the intelligent check of dispatch operations. Two check schemes are proposed: operation order check and operation sequence check. The latter is recommended.

The characteristics of two-terminal differential protection on the amplitude-phase flat are discussed. The sensitivity of traditional current differential protection is low and in contradiction with security. By making full use of the relative amplitude and phase relationship of different faults, a new method of dividing the amplitude-phase flat into three regions including the action region, brake region and fuzzy region is proposed, which is capable of meeting both sensitivity and security requirements of current differential protection. Moreover, the proposed method is used to calculate the differential current and restrained current by using the short data window phaselet algorithm to distinguish the external fault causing current transformer (CT) saturation and internal high-impedance fault. If it is internal high-impedance fault, protection can act sensitively. The proposed method can solve the contradiction between sensitivity and security, and is capable of acting rapidly when external fault converts to internal fault while ensuring freedom from the influence of the blocking time of CT saturation. Small hydropower (SHP) shares a large proportion in the generation mix in hydropower-rich regions. As large and small hydropower crowded to export electricity during flood seasons and the output of SHP fluctuate frequently, it has a serious effect on power grid. This paper introduced a short term optimal operation model for the maximization of large and small combined hydropower consumption. The SHP stations in the same area are considered as a group in the model, using fuzzy clustering analysis method to establish the output scenario of SHP and its probability distribution, which is solved by the combination of heuristic search method and successive associated search method. The application in the small hydropower rich areas shows that this model can effectively use the regulation capacity of large hydropower stations to optimize joint operation and reduce the curtailment of small hydropower. It is a practical and effective short-term optimal operation model for large and small combined hydropower subregion. © 2015, China Water Power Press. All right reserved.

In view of the uncertainty of operating time and recovery reliability of lines put into operation during network reconstruction after blackout, a fuzzy chance constrained model of optimization of power network reconfiguration is proposed based on the fuzzy chance constrained programming theory. Triangular fuzzy variables are used to represent the line's operating time and recovery reliability, and the recovery reliability index is defined to evaluate the objective network. The target is to ensure that the possibility of a unit's restoration in its start-up time requirements is no less than a certain level of confidence, and to obtain the optimized network that reaches the highest reliability in a shortest possible time. The fuzzy simulation based cross particle swarm optimization is used to optimize the node restoration sequence, and the Dijkstra algorithm is combined to choose the restoration path. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is validated by an IEEE 30-node system and part of Yunnan power system. ©, 2015 Automation of Electric Power Press.

When the power transformer high voltage side outgoing line occurs single-phase or two-phase ground fault, in the process awaiting reclosing after the fault phase is cut off or the main transformer high voltage side outgoing line occurs one or two phase broken, generator transformer group is in the open phase running state. This paper analyzes the characteristics of voltage and current of generator using sequence component, verifies the analytical results according to the recorded data, and proposes the effect on generator transformer relay protection. According to the results of the analysis, it puts forward some attention and prevention measures on open phase operation, which is conducive to the safe and reliable operation of power system.

A Markov analysis technique is used to calculate reliability measures for overhead transmission line that involve several typical reliability related factors. Considering the effectiveness of routine maintenance, awaiting maintenance state is introduced and state-space graph that can reflect the current running state is established. The calculations of reliability measures can be obtained by state-space graph. The results show that the routine maintenance work within a certain appropriate range can effectively improve the reliability of the line. The technique has important reference value for the practical application of condition-based maintenance.

The problem of how to analyse and evalulate the completeness degree of the dispatching automation system emergency preplan is studied. According to the compilation guide published by higher departments, FTA is used in this paper to establish the standard fault tree of the dispatching automation system emergency preplan, and the missing basic events are found out by means of comparison between the fault tree and the emergency preplan, then completeness degree quantitative analysis is given based on it. An example of a fault tree is given, a set of missing basic events is found by the fault tree according to an emergency preplan, and the completeness degree of the preplan is analyzed. Finally the problems reflected in this process are discussed.

The subject of how to make a practical power network dispatching automation system emergency plan is studied and practiced, using both of the scientific and indigenous ways. Concrete methods are given to edit or make the plans. The problem of how to choose and describe the titles of the plans is analyzed, and the first index and the secondary index are established based on it. The responsibility matrix method of the project management field is introduced to the making process of the plans, and an example of this process is given, too. The idea of evaluating the completeness degree is described, and the establishment of the safety knowledge base is suggested.
