The high-pressure piston diaphragm is the croe of slurry pipeline implementing agencies,need to focus on monitoring and maintenance. Because of its working conditions is extremely complex, the common means of detection can't get the fault information. Based on the acoustic emission technique, sound signals, indirect monitoring of diaphragm pumps. This paper presents an on-line monitoring idea, which is a fault diagnosis of the high-pressure piston diaphragm pump based on acoustic emission. It is technically feasible, and has the considerable propagableness. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

The iron ore concentrate transport is one of an important factor in restricting the mining economic development; pipeline is a good solution with the hydraulic. The Dongchuan pipes are the use of the gravitational potential energy to achieve transporting concentrates by the way of self-flowing drop. The project is highly energy saving demonstration. However, it has a high demand of the control system of the end of the pipe dehydration station running due to the complex topography. Centralized control system given in this paper, having the characteristic of high reliability, operating performance, real-time strong, versatile and high economic benefits. The system realize the intelligent monitoring of the whole plant, all equipment control, the detection signal into the control room, remote control of the bottom pump system on the mountain, all equipment automatically switches to control. Designing the three dimensional (3D) GIS software used in monitoring mineral pipeline transporting system. The software can truly show and restore the geography of project and the features of terrain. The operator can not only examine and grasp the true situation of the distribution of pipeline, but also keep watch on the secure running of the pipeline by real-time remote video in the remote control room. The problem of pressure detection in long distance ore pipeline transport is one of the most important technical indexes to ensure pipeline safety, efficient transportation. This paper presents kind of pressure detection method in long distance ore slurry pipeline, with detection loop pipe, micro-differential pressure transmitter and mercury u-tube difference-pressure meter to form the pressure detection. Detection loop pipe is identical with main pipe, parallel set with main pipe. Calculation of the unit on-way resistance in the current velocity and concentration combined detection of the actual length of the loop pipe. Da Hong Shan pipeline in practical application indicates that the method used to pressure detection, not only solved problem of long-distance pipeline pressure detection, but also solve the problem error is fairly great between Theoretical value and actual value for two-phase flow in turbulent state, to protect the long distance ore slurry pipeline security, stability and efficient operation. © 2010 IEEE.

The water treatment in conduits, which delivers the ore pulp for a long distance, is a prob lem that can affect the industries of solid material conduit delivering, due to the special physical characteristics of the ore pulp slurry. The running conduits of Yunnan DaHongshan ore of iron refined is the one of the most running difficult conduits in the world, so it is worth for extension to develop all sorts of studies for these conduits. The theme show a total solution of the water treatment in running conduits of DaHongshan ore of iron refined. This solution in practical application indicates that the waste water discharge of industry comes to zero in DaHongshan conduits. This theme introduces the solution of water treatment, which plays an important role in the secure, economy and environmental protection. © 2010 IEEE.

The characteristic of Da Hong Shan pipe is with a high lift, a varied topography and so on. So, there need for a powerful computing platform for data model, to provide real-time information. In this paper, Da Hong Shan pipeline intelligent monitoring system, for example. Gives a variety of data delivery platform converged networks, mobile communications, software programming. The characteristics of different grade of iron ore concentrate slurry are different, which causes confusion in pulp conveying process. Therefore, aiming at the problem of accelerated flow wear the pipeline, further propose the accelerated flow elimination technique to reduce the pipeline wear caused by accelerated flow, and ensure the safe operation of iron concentrate pipeline. The production practice shows that the technique can effectively inhibit the accelerated flow phenomena and ensure the different grade of iron concentrate without mixing in conveying, at the same time minimize the pipe wear. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Due to the existence of different grades of mineral in the mining area, the technology of slurry pipeline grade transmission is developing. However, the process of grade transmission will appear the phenomenon that the slurry of different grades are mixed. Therefore, before cutting into different grade slurry, we added special medium in pipeline to separate different grades of slurry. We worked out slurry pipeline transport model by mathematical modeling and building slurry pipeline transport real-time location tracking system. The system was able to distinguish different grades of slurry by adding special medium and tracking the actual location of the head and tail of slurry, realizing real-time position monitoring of different grade slurry. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In generally, there are multiple factories. According to mining areas, it supplies different quality iron ore concentrate. And according to the unique requirements of owners, different grades concentrate cannot be confused. Therefore, the grade of slurry pipeline transportation is needed to be used. When in the study of grade transmission, we must focus on Hydraulic characteristics of solid-liquid two-phase for different quality of iron ore concentrate. Slurry concentration and Critical velocity of flow is especially important. Research shows that the deposition rate of laminar or turbulent transition velocity is higher than the occasion when the slurry has concentration, so the minimum operating speed is controlled by sedimentation; the concentration lower limit is 62%. If the concentration is over 68%, the yield stress of slurry will increase, and the pipeline pressure will drop, which is very sensitive to slight changes in concentration. Therefore, the solid weight concentration range is 62% to 68%,as the selection range of design. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
