In order to improve the full-flow state of backfilling pipelines in deep mines, full-flow ratio was put forward to regard as a quantitative index to describe the full-flow state of the filling system. At the same time a mathematical model of full-flow ratio was deduced based on the hydraulic transmission theory and its influence factors were also analysed in theory by using the mathematical model. It is found that reducing the pipe diameter or increasing the slurry flow velocity is the best way to increase the full-flow ratio. On the basis of the pipe two-phase flow theory, a mathematical expression about the relationship of the pipe diameter, velocity, and full-flow ratio was also established, which provides a theoretical basis of selecting the best conveying parameters for the filling system. A local reform, replacing φ150 mm pipes with φ85 mm pipes and increasing the flux to 80 m3·h-1 simultaneously, was carried out in a deep mine filling system. The results show that the full-flow ratio of such system is able to be improved by 6 times and the pipe wearing can be reduced effectively.

Alkaline residue was one kind of media matter which came from metallurgy purifying precious metals from lead anode silt, which concentrated a large amount of tellurium, and in which tellurium existed as Na2TeO3. Based on constituent and property of alkaline residue, in which Na2TeO3 and Na2TeO3 was easy to dissolve in water could be turned into TeO2 when pH was 7 or so, alkali hydrometallurgy was chosen to extract tellurium, which included crushing, ball-milling, leach, purification, neutralization, incineration, alkali-dissolving, electrolysis. The effect of NaOH concentrate and leach time on leach tellurium efficiency, and the purification result of Na2S and CaCl2 on dislodging Cu, Pb and Si, the best pH value of neutralization and precipitation, the effect of incineration on dislodging Se, and the effect of electrolysis current on tellurium purity were studied mainly. The results showed that, the best concentration of NaOH was 25 g·L-1 on leaching tellurium efficiency, the optimum leaching time was 4 h. Ideal effect could be obtained by using Na2S and CaCl2 to dislodge Cu, Pb and Si, the best pH value of neutralization and precipitation was 5.0~6.0, and the best current density was 50~60 A·m-2. According to experiment data analysis, key technique was put forward for each process stage. It is confirmed that tellurium could be extracted from alkaline by using above process.

The liquidus temperature of molten salt KCl-Na3WO3F3 system was measured by differential thermal analysis. The results show that in the molten salt system when X KCl =0.5, X Na3WO3F3 <0.5 the liquidus temperature decreased with the increase of Na3WO3F3 content; when X KCl =0.5, X Na3WO3F3 >0.5 the liquidus temperature increased with the increase of Na3WO3F3 content; the eutectic temperature is 601.8 °C, the eutectic composition is XKCl = 0.5, X Na3WO3F3 =0.5. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The liquidus temperature of molten salt NaCl-KCl-NaF-Na2WO4 system was measured by differential thermal analysis. The results show that in the molten salt system when XNa2WO4 ≤ 0.6 eutectic temperature is 542.1 °C and a phase transition temperature is 515.4 °C, eutectic composition become XNaCl = 0.28, XKCl = 0.28, XNaF = 0.14, XNa2WO4 = 0.3; when XNa2WO4 > 0.6, eutectic temperature and a phase transition temperature are respectively 597.7 °C and 495.8 °C, eutectic composition become XNaCl = 0.12, XKCl = 0.12, XNaFl = 0.06, XNa2WO4 = 0.7. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The influences of additives and current density on the stress and cobalt content of nickel-cobalt alloy electroforming layer were studied. The effects of additives and current density to the morphology and microstructure of nickel-cobalt alloy electroforming layer were investigated by SEM, EDS and X-ray diffraction. The results showed that compressive stress was generated in the electroforming layer when the additive TN2 added in the electroforming solution; the additive TN3 could make tensile stress. So electroforming layer might have a balance of zero stress by adding TN2 and TN3 together. When the current density was less than 6A/dm2, the stress of electroforming layer increased along with the current density; when the current density was greater than 6A/dm2, the stress of electroforming layer decreased along with the current density. The additives' influence on the cobalt content of electroforming layer was not obvious. The current density's influence on the cobalt content of electroforming layer was more obvious. Smoother and finer grain could be acquired when the TN2 or TN3 added in the electroforming solution. The additive TN2 had a large effect on the diffraction peak(200)and certain selectivity to the crystal face.The additive TN3 had a strong selectivity to the crystal face, easily adsorbed on the (200) surfaces to inhibit their growth, so the crystal growth direction was mainly [100]. With the current density increasing, the diffraction peak had the widening trend.

The effects of additive TN1, power waveforms (full wave, half wave, and direct current), current density and pH on the throwing power of Ni-Co alloy electroforming solution had been investigated by orthogonal tests; and the effects of plating parameters on current distribution of cathode by ANSYS numerical simulation were discussed. The results of orthogonal test showed that the additive TN1 had the largest effect on the throwing power; the power waveform was secondary; the current density and pH had minor effect. The biggest throwing power was 78% when the TN1 was 15g/L and waveform was full wave. Numerical simulation showed that the cathode shape and shield had effect on current distribution; reasonable cathode shape and application of shield could improve the current distribution. The thickness uniformity of part could be up to 92% by optimizing of electrolyte, adjusting the electroforming technics and applying second electroplating. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications.

Based on complex geological conditions in Huize Lead & Zinc Mine, a digital 24-channel microseismic monitoring system was established to monitor microseismic events in deep mining. In the monitoring period, microseismic parameters were recorded such as b values, magnitude and the number of microseismic events. The relation of Df =2b was deduced between capacity dimension Df and b values. After analyzing the monitoring data, the changes of Df values with time and stope collapse were determined. The results show that rockmass failure is closely related with Df values. With the change of mining disturbance, the stress concentration of local rockmass induces crack compaction, initiation and propagation, meantime the Df values increase and then stay relatively quiet, meaning that the crack roughness of rockmass is increasing. Once dynamic disasters are caused by rock mass failure, the Df values abruptly decrease, which means that the crack roughness of rockmass reduces and it leads to the acceleration of rockmass instability. Combining with site examination, it is concluded that the probability of rock failure increases with decreasing Df values.

Static flocculation and sedimentation experiments with polyacrylamide and unclassified tailings from a mine were completed to study the effects of feeding concentration and flocculants' unit consumption on the maximum sedimentation velocity and limit concentration of tailings under static sedimentation. A simple model of sedimentation velocity was established through regression analysis on experimental data. The model was divided into six phases including turbulent flow affected segment, accelerating sedimentation segment, terminal velocity segment, interference sedimentation segment, dewatering sedimentation segment, and limit sedimentation segment. The rationality of the model was explained by the two-phase flow theory and the flocculation theory. The results show that at a certain unit consumption of flocculants (20g · t-1), the sedimentation velocity is negatively correlated and the limit concentration is positively correlated to the feeding concentration. At the feeding concentration of 20%, the critical value of unit consumption is 30g · t-1, and the limit concentration is negatively correlated to the unit consumption. A project was proposed that the feeding concentration is 20% and the unit consumption of flocculants is 20g · t-1.
