The iron ore concentrate transport is one of an important factor in restricting the mining economic development; pipeline is a good solution with the hydraulic. The Dongchuan pipes are the use of the gravitational potential energy to achieve transporting concentrates by the way of self-flowing drop. The project is highly energy saving demonstration. However, it has a high demand of the control system of the end of the pipe dehydration station running due to the complex topography. Centralized control system given in this paper, having the characteristic of high reliability, operating performance, real-time strong, versatile and high economic benefits. The system realize the intelligent monitoring of the whole plant, all equipment control, the detection signal into the control room, remote control of the bottom pump system on the mountain, all equipment automatically switches to control. Designing the three dimensional (3D) GIS software used in monitoring mineral pipeline transporting system. The software can truly show and restore the geography of project and the features of terrain. The operator can not only examine and grasp the true situation of the distribution of pipeline, but also keep watch on the secure running of the pipeline by real-time remote video in the remote control room. We set up a system of multiple optical tweezers based on a spatial light modulator, and measured the displacement and optical force of the trapped particles simultaneously. All of the trapped particles can be clearly imaged in three dimensions by several CCDs. The displacement is obtained by calculating the gray weighted centroid in the trapped particle's image. The stiffness of the trapped particles in the optical traps is measured by oscillating the sample stage in a triangular wave based on Stokes fluid dynamics. The optical force of each trapped particle can be calculated by the measured displacement and stiffness. © 2012 Chinese Physical Society and IOP Publishing Ltd.

The sensor nodes in WSN are generally limited in energy, and the communication between nodes consumes most power. Therefore, it is the keypoint to reduce energy consumption and network traffic when designing routing protocols for WSN. The Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) protocol is a widely used and studied WSN routing protocol. In this paper, an improved LEACH based on energy-consumption optimization (LEACH-EO) was proposed against the deficiencies of LEACH. LEACH-EO implemented some improvements on the cluster-head selection of LEACH, meanwhile, the data redundancy of WSN wasexploited to optimize the data transmission according to the characteristics of WSN. The simulation results show that LEACH-EO increases network lifetime and reduces energy consumption in comparison to LEACH. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

According to indicators' information repetition and subjectivity of the indicators' weight set during the variable fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, Principal Component analysis can help solve the weight of the relative indicators and reduce comprehensive evaluation dimensions of the variable fussy comprehensive evaluation. This paper has made a comprehensive evaluation of the status quo of Yunnan's low carbon economy development(2005-2009), which turns out to be more practical compared with the mere variable fussy theory analysis, thus, principal component-variable fuzzy evaluation is a kind of feasible way to analyze the regional low carbon development status. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

At present, cloud computing technology is widely used in IOT(Internet of Things) service and real-time embedded industrial control system energy consumption, problem in the cloud computing has always been the hot topic of industry and academic research. This paper analyzes the energy consumption of each equipment under the dormancy mechanism in the cloud computing environment. Meanwhile, this paper introduces the ant colony algorithm into a basic network energy consumption model, thereby building a new model for the energy consumption optimization. The simulation experiments were implemented on a cloud computing simulation platform CLOUDSIM. In comparison with two algorithms - Min LP and Dijkstra, the model presented in this paper was proved to be effective and more energy-efficient. © 2015 IEEE.

Sensor technology is a key technology in the field of Internet of Things(IoT), which has been applied to the research on task scheduling of embedded systems in wireless sensor networks (WSN), it affects the existence and uniqueness of the real-time interactive behavior for IoT service, as well as the energy consumption modeling and evaluation of WSN deployment on the background of real-time embedded control systems. In this paper, through further studies on the kernel scheduling mechanism of TinyOS, aiming at its shortcomings, a lightweight scheduling strategy - quick sort scheduling strategy based on dynamic priority of tasks queue (TQS-DP) was proposed. This strategy changes the priority of tasks dynamically, and quickly put them into queues with quick sort. Meanwhile, the timeout management of tasks is taken into consideration. Whether the priority level of the task is high or low, it can be executed in due time. Finally, the simulation experiments show that our method cannot only improve the task throughput of the whole wireless sensor networks (WSNs), but also effectively reduce the energy consumption of system, in order to ensure the real-time performance, determinacy and casuality dependency of task scheduling. © 2015 IEEE.

Background: Toxoplasma gondii is an intracellular protozoan parasite that infects almost all warm-blooded animals, including humans, with a worldwide distribution. There have been limited reports about the seroprevalence of T. gondii infection in equids around the world and little is known about the seroprevalence of T. gondii in equids in southwestern China, in particular in Yunnan Province. The objective of the present investigation was to estimate the seroprevalence of T. gondii infection in equids in this area. Methods. A total of 399 serum samples (266 from horses and 133 from donkeys) were collected in 2012, and assayed for T. gondii antibodies by Indirect Haemagglutination (IHA) test using a commercially available kit. Results: A total of 108 (27.1%) equids, including 81 (30.5%) horses and 27 (20.3%) donkeys were positive for T. gondii antibodies, and the seroprevalence ranged from 18.8% to 37.5% among different sampling areas. The seroprevalence was 27.4% and 26.8% for male and female equids, respectively, and the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). The seroprevalence ranged from 21% to 32.9% among different age groups, and the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). Conclusions: The results of the present survey indicated the existence of high T. gondii seroprevalence in Yunnan Province, southwestern China, which has significant public health concern. Therefore, it is imperative that improved integrated measures be carried out to prevent and control T. gondii infection in equids in the studied region. © 2013 Miao et al.; licensee BioMed Central Ltd.

Oreocharis brachypodus is described and illustrated as a new species from Guizhou, China. The new species is similar to Oreocharis villosa. However, the new species is readily distinguished from the latter by cymes not branched, 1–4-flowered, larger and pronounced gibbous corolla (2.2–2.5 cm long), ovary ca. 1 cm long, with 4 ribs prominent, style ca. 0.7 cm long, and thecae confluent. Comments on affinities, geographical distribution, ecology, phenology and conservation status of the new species are also provided. © 2015 Magnolia Press.

In this study, the mycelial growth rate, mycelial colonization time, yield, and biological efficiency of the edible mushroom Oudemansiella canarii were determined, and the effects of different substrate combinations on productivity, chemical contents and amino acids were evaluated. Lignocellulosic wastes, such as cottonseed hull, sawdust, corncob, and their combinations supplemented with 18% wheat bran and 2% lime, were used for the cultivation of O. canarii. The biological efficiency (BE) and essential amino acid content of treatment T1, which consisted of 80% cottonseed hull, were the highest among all the tested treatments. Mixtures that included sawdust, such as treatments T2 (80% sawdust), T4 (40% sawdust+40% cottonseed hull), and T6 (40% sawdust+40% corncob), exhibited lower yield and BE. Corncob was good for O. canarii production in terms of yield and BE, whereas the mycelial growth rate and colonization time were lower compared to those on other substrates. Comparing the BE, essential amino acids, and other traits of the six treatments, treatment T1 (80% cottonseed hull) was the best formula for O. canarii cultivation and should be extended in the future.
