For complicate terrains, the elevation difference should be considered when vibration formula is deduced in blasting engineering. Based on the seismic wave data collected from IDTS3850 in underground chambers, the attenuation rule of surface blasting vibration in vertical direction is analyzed by Sodev's formula. Grey correlation model is suggested for sensitive analysis of vibration speed and three influencing factors, maximum amount of explosive Q, elevation difference between explosive centers H and the distance from the blasting center R are selected. The correlated results are verified by numerical simulation software ANSYS. It shows that the distance from blasting center is the most sensitive factor, which plays the most important influence on vibration speed. The biggest blast dose plays the least role and elevation difference between explosive centers takes the second place in the influence on vibration speed. Rainfall infiltration exerts great effect on the stability of soil slopes. Based on the actual rainfall data, saturated-unsaturated seepage theory and the mechanical theory of unsaturated porous media, numerical simulations were conducted to examine the seepage field of saturatedunsaturated slope during rainfall infiltration in this paper. The influence of the coefficient with rainfall duration, rainfall patterns, rainfall intensity and soil saturated permeability on seepage field are studied, and the relationship between the factor of safety and the position of sliding surface is obtained. The simulated results show that the saturated hydraulic conductivity has a great effect on slope stability. If the permeability of soil is relatively large, the changing range and the velocity of the factor of safety increase with the rainfall intensity; and if it is relatively in a low degree, the influence of the rainfall intensity on the slope stability is also low. © 2014 ACADEMY PUBLISHER. The dynamic response of underground caverns under open blasting loads was simulated with FLAC 3D software. On the basis of data from seismic waves measured with an IDTS3850 tester, blasting vibration parameters in the case of the maximal charge amount of explosives and the shortest blasting distance were calculated with Sadowsky's empirical formula. By conversion of the velocity-time history into the stress-time history and by use of the Fish function built-in FLAC 3D software, dynamic loading was carried out by inputting the dynamic load-time history at boundary nodes or internal nodes. After comparison between the dynamic simulation and static analysis of plastic zones, displacement and stress, the corresponding impact of dynamic loads on the stability of caverns was assessed. It is shown that blasting vibrations can magnify the vertical displacement of caverns, especially in intersect zones, and on the other hand, the stress concentration under static action is alleviated when a dynamic load is applied. Besides, it also aggravates the wall fall of cavities, but cannot result in overall destruction. Source

In allusion to the fuzzy and uncertain information of sublevel openstope succedent filling method in practical engineering, some factors such as mining safety, economy and technology were taken into account and scenario optimization of the corresponding synthetic evaluation system was established by analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Then, the fuzzy mathematics method was also applied to optimize each scheme parameter and assess the weight of quantitative and qualitative indexes. Finally, optimal scheme parameters were obtained by the fuzzy matrix, thereby leading to mining safety and high efficiency mining. Source
