The inertial effects of the components in the transmission device have both advantages and disadvantages and can not be unavoidable, it has direct influences on starting, braking, energy consumption and the equipment service life, it is one of the important problems need to be discussed carefully. Using the mechanics principle, this paper analyzed the calculation method of inertial effect in gear, and obtained the torque expression of the different sections in the transmission chain and the power factor of inertia effect, the results of the given numerical example show the correctness of the conclusions. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Wave function expansion method and vibration theory are employed to study the out-of-plane response problem of the double degree of freedom vibration system installed on the half circular rigid platform on the half space boundary. The total displacement in the half space media was given using elastic wave theory, and the second order constant coefficient differential equations with which the double degree of freedom oscillatory system can also be given with the vibration theory, the unknown coefficients in the scattering functions can be obtained using the displacement and stress continuity conditions on the interface between the media and the rigid platform. And the variations of the relative displacement amplitude ratios of the rigid platform and the vibrators and the tangential stress concentration factor on the half circular interface can be given, the numerical results of given example show the correctness of the conclusions in the paper. © 2016, Journal of Mechanical Strength. The complex number method is employed to analyze the planar motion problems of mechanism. The angular velocities and accelerations of connecting rod and rocker are formulated, and the linear velocities and accelerations of key points are also given. Geometric methods and mechanical principles were employed to study the kinematic variables and dynamic variables of eccentric circle cam mechanism, and their formulae were also given. The deductions show that the linear velocity and the acceleration of the driven member and the driving moment are all functions of the rotation angle φ and the rotation angular velocity ω of the cam, the numerical results of the given example verify the conclusions. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Longitudinal vibration of the elastic bars with concentrated masses widely exist in the engineering applications which needs to be studied deeply. In this paper, the harmonic dynamic disturbance was considered. At first, the equations to be determined were written out, the linear algebraic equations of the unknown coefficients were obtained utilizing the supposed harmonic solutions with unknown coefficients, boundary conditions of the problem and the dynamic conditions of the concentrated masses. The given example took three bars and two concentrated masses as the example, the vibration displacement amplitudes and the dynamic stress amplitudes of the bars along the axial direction with different disturbance frequencies were studied, The conclusions can provide the theoretical bases for the dynamic strength check and the strength design. ©, 2015, Journal of Mechanical Strength. Mechanical methods were employed to study the motion and force transmission performance of a kind of connecting rod slider mechanism with a curved edge driving component. The deduction methods and the computation formulae of the slider displacement, velocity, acceleration and the executive force gain coefficient were given. Considering two cases of the driving components with straight line edge and exponential function edge, the numerical examples was computed respectively, the results show that the former one is suitable for the force transmission and can be used in the grip design and the other one is suitable for the motion transmission which can be used in the fast moving mechanism. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

A novel constellation mapping scheme of 16 quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) based on the criterion of the mutual information and the unequal degree protection of the bit position is proposed so as to improve the limited channel capacity performance of the traditional Gray mapping for the bit-interleaved-coded-modulation with iterative decoding (BICM-ID) optical communication systems at the medium-to-high signal noise ratio (SNR) region. The simulation analysis shows that the channel capacity of the novel proposed mapping scheme is 1.18 bit/channel higher than that of the traditional Gray mapping scheme at the medium-to-high SNR region. Furthermore, combined with the low-density parity-check (LDPC) code, the novel proposed mapping scheme with the assistance of the extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) charts owns good performance advantage and application promise in optical communication systems. ©, 2015, China National Publishing Industry Trading Corporation. The ground seismic sensors is working basing on the dynamic response of the ground, the ground displacement and acceleration are the results of the propagation of the seismic focus in the crust, it is a complex dynamic problem of comprehensive consideration of the incident wave disturbance and the seismic response of the oscillatory system mechanism which needs to be solved. In this paper, the method of wave function series, the plane wave expansion and Newtonian dynamics equation were used to study the seismic response of the oscillatory system under the disturbance of the out-of-plane incident wave, and the variations of the relative displacement of the mass to the ground along with the disturbance frequency, incident angle are investigated, the numerical results of the given example show that the existence of the phenomenon of sympathy, and accord with the conclusion of vibration mechanics. © 2015, Journal of Mechanical Strength.
