Combing the longitudinal stiffened ribs with two kinds of section shapes and diaphragms with three types of cutouts, asphalt concrete with different thickness and elastic moduli is modeled. The element entity model of orthotropic steel deck with closed stiffener is built. For longitudinal and horizontal loading at the most disadvantaged place on steel bridge, the mechanical properties of the orthotropic steel bridge deck with pavement is studied and the effects of different elastic moduli and thickness on the mechanical properties of bridge deck are studied.
