Mononicotinic acid triazine reactive dyes can fix with fiber in neutral condition, so it usually was used to realize one-bath dyeing process of cotton/PET blend fabric. The main purpose of this paper was to study the dyeing properties of mononicotinic acid triazine reactive dyes on wool fiber. Argazol red N-SB was choosen, the effects of salt concentration, dyeing temperature and dyeing time and other factors on the dyeing effect were explored. The results showed that, in the condition of alkali-free, the optimum process was Argazol red N-SB 1% (owf), electrolyte 30 g/L, 100 °C and 60 min. The building-up properties of Argazol red N-SB on wool fiber were fairly good and color fastness can reach processing and wearing requirements. Source

In this paper, several sweater hand samples were developed after several debugging according to the trend of sweaters. Some fabric appearance effects including mesh, hollowing, concaveconvex and ripple and so on that could be formed by the applying of drop needle, widening and narrowing, loop transfer and so on after designing novel pattern and getting rid of conventional fabric structure. Several hand samples which fits for different style sweaters were knitted after selecting suitable yarn and device number and that displays the multiplicity and the variety of materials on flat knitting machine and the sweaters' characteristics. At the same time, these can provide practice basis for industrialized manufacture. Source

Traditional reduction indigo dye is not suitable for wool fiber dyeing. The dyeing effect of reduction indigo dye can be realised by using indigo carmine on wool fiber. The results show that,in the condition of dye 2% ( owf) , the optimum process is pH value 5, electrolyte 15 g/L, 95°C and 60 min, wool fiber can be dyed with indigo carmine, and hue is closed to indigo. Exhaustion rate, levelness and color fastness can reach the ideal effect. Source

Suaeda salsa is a coastal saline alkaline tolerance plant. Aiming at achieving deeper color and higher grade fastness properties of wool with Suaeda salsa dye, this paper investigates the methods of direct dyeing, mordant dyeing and ultrasonic dyeing. The rates of dyeing and color fastness indces of these methods are tested. The results of the study showed that the optimal process of directly dyeing method was pH value of 3, 55 °C for 50 min. The effect of wool fiber with mordant dyeing and ultrasonic dyeing was also investigated. The results show that mordant dyeing and ultrasonic dyeing could both improve the dye uptake and fastness of wool fiber at diffierent degrees. Source
