Six cultivars from Chinese jujube were analysed for total polyphenolic, flavonoids, Cyclic Adenosine monophosphate contents and for antioxidant activities, using three different methods (DPPH; Hydroxyl Radicals and SOD-like activity). For the total phenolic content measured by the Folin- Ciocalteau method, six groups, ranging from 1077 to 1477 mg TPC/100 g, were clearly distinguishable. Total flavonoids were measured using spectrophotometry and a novel method is used for the rapid determination of Cyclic Adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) in six cultivars of Chinese jujube based on Rapid Resolution Liquid Chromatography (RRLC). The results of cAMP content in six different cultivars of Chinese jujube showed an excellent linearity in the concentration range of 0.015-0.075 mg/mL (R2 ^gt; 0.9999), with a recovery of 98.0% and a relative standard deviation (RSD) of 1.13%.
