With computer simulation approach and theoretical mechanics analysis approach, according to two kinds of the loop plays, the author studied and compared the state change laws of loop after colliding. The two kinds of results received in analysis are identical. The speed of high-speed loop slows down to some extent, but rotate is strengthened, and the speed of high-spin loop drive is accelerated, but rotate is weaken. The paper indicates that computer simulation technology can be applied to dynamics study and state measurement of table tennis, and it also has certain guidable meaning for practicing. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

BACKGROUND: Skin flap replantation was poor in patients with large area of skin avulsion due to poor blood transportation and severe infection; therefore, dressing should be changed again and again. OBJECIVE: To investigate the effect of vacuum sealing drainage technology and absorbing materials on the large area of skin avulsion. METHODS: A total of 100 patients with large area of skin avulsion were selected from Department of Medical Beauty of Affiliated Hospital of Xingtai Medical College between September 1,2008 and August 31,2009. The injury area ranged from 10% to 50%. All patients were randomly divided into odd day group (n = 58, testing group which was treated with vacuum sealing drainage) and even day group (n = 42, control group which was treated with dressing treatment). Length of stay, infection rates and healing were compared between the two groups. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Length of stay in the testing group was significantly shorter than control group (P < 0.05). In the testing group, two cases had baumanii infection and 4 had pseudomonas aeruginosa infection, and the infection rate was 10%. In the control group, 7 cases had pseudomonas aeruginosa infection and 5 had MRSA infection, and the infection rate was 29%. The infection rate in the testing group was significantly lower than control group (P < 0.05). In the testing group, 46 patients (79%) were cured in the first therapy cycle, and the other 12 cases (21%) were treated with autoallergic free skin transplantation; in the control group, 12 cases were cured in the first therapy cycle, and the other 30 patients were treated with autoallergic skin transplantation following granulation tissue growing. The secondary operation time in the testing group was significantly shorter than control group (P < 0.05). The results suggested that the effect of vacuum sealing drainage technology and absorption materials application were satisfactory in a large area of skin avulsion.

Previous studies focusing on identification of dietary risk factors for hyperuricemia reported controversial findings. Moreover, evidence for relationship between hyperuricemia and eating and cooking habits remained scanty. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the associations between hyperuricemia and dietary risk factors. A cross-sectional study was conducted among 1583 participants in a Beijing community. Face-to-face interviews were conducted using questionnaires. Anthropometric measurements and biochemical tests were also performed. The prevalence of hyperuricemia was 14.1 % (20.2 % for males and 7.4 % for females). Among the 1372 subjects included for analysis, 720 (52.5 %) were males and the mean age was 37.7 years. For males, statistically significant associations between hyperuricemia and tea intake, breakfast and midnight snack consumption were found, with an odds ratio of 0.56 (high vs. low), 2.14 (often vs. always) and 0.52 (rarely vs. always), respectively. Smoking, fatty liver disease, triglyceride, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and fasting blood glucose were significantly related to increased serum uric acid (SUA), with a coefficient of 20.06, 11.52, 7.29, 18.97 and 13.37 on SUA, respectively. For females, no statistically significant associations between hyperuricemia and dietary risk factors were observed. In summary, hyperuricemia is highly prevalent among the adult participants in this Chinese community, especially for men. High tea intake and consuming midnight snack rarely are significantly related to decreased risk of hyperuricemia, while often-eating breakfast is associated with increased risk of hyperuricemia compared with always-eating breakfast in males. Further prospective studies are needed to confirm the findings and to establish dietary recommendations for the prevention and treatment of hyperuricemia. © 2015, Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is the primary cause of serious lower respiratory tract illness in infants and young children worldwide. The mechanism is largely unknown. RSV stimulates airway epithelial cells and resident leukocytes to release cytokines. Cytokines and chemokines involved in host response to RSV infection are thought to play a central role in the pathogenesis. In addition, RSV infection early in life has been associated with the development of asthma in later childhood. It is likely that the persistence of cytokines and chemokines in fully recovered patients with RSV in the long term can provide a substratum for the development of subsequent asthma. This review describes the genetic factors in cytokines and chemokines associated with severity of RSV disease, cytokines and chemokines synthesis in RSV infection, and the role of these innate immune components in RSV-associated asthma. © 2010 Elsevier Ltd.

A new Zn(II) compound, namely [Zn(pam)(bib)]n (1 H2pam = pamoic acid, bib = 1,4-bis(imidazolyl)butane), has been synthesized by the reactions of Zn(II) ions with H2pam and bib ligands under solvothermal conditions. Single-crystal X-ray analysis reveals that compound 1 features a 2D→3D interdigitated supramolecular framework.
