In various renewable energy sources, wind energy is one of the fastest-growing energy sources worldwide and has a good prospect of development and utilization. The present situation of wind turbines industries was outlined and analyzed herein. The development tendency of wind turbines was summarized; the research situations and problems were analyzed, including aerodynamic analysis on wind rotors, analysis and calculation of loads, structure dynamics and control, energy transfer and control and pitch system. Finally, it is pointed out that since the wind turbine is sophisticated nonlinear system related to theory of multi-disciplines, involving multi-physical coupling field and multi-physical process, the thinking method of system science should be adopted in the future research based on multi-discipline knowledge.

A new type of epoxy-anhydride insulation VPI resin (JF-9955) with low viscosity and curing volatile was applied for VPI treatment of stator windings for the 5MW permanent magnet synchronous wind-driven generators. The properties of bars and coils impregnated with this resin are tested and compared with conventional Epoxy Ester- Styrene system and unsaturated polyesterimide vinyltoluene (VT) system. The results indicate that all the electrical insulation properties are much better than that of those conventional VPI systems. The properties of coils and generators are tested, and all the results indicate that the insulation properties of the stator windings impregnated with this VPI resin are up to the designed requirements. The 5MW permanent magnet synchronous winddriven generators treated with the as mentioned epoxy-anhydride insulation VPI resins have been completed and off the production line successfully in Xiangtan Electric Manufacturing Corporation Ltd.

A solar condenser, comprising two or more parabolic mirrors; each parabolic mirror is provided with a different focal length and a common focusing plane; the parabolic mirrors consist of a plurality of staggeredly arranged mirror unit groups consisting of more than one reflecting units; the distance between every two parabolic mirrors with different focal lengths is the focal length difference thereof. Through the staggered installation of the reflecting units, the air flow between the mirrors is increased without increasing additional footprint or affecting the light-focusing effect, thus the impact of winds on the mirrors and structures is reduced; and ice, snow and dust do not easily accumulate on the mirrors, thus effectively improving the operational stability of the solar condenser.

A disc-type concentrator comprises a disc rack vertical post, a disc rack, a rotating shaft, a rotating reflection mirror, a power driving device, and a control system. The rotating shaft is arranged on the disc rack and rotatably connected with the disc rack. The rotating reflection mirror is arranged on a side of the rotating shaft and fixedly connected with the rotating shaft. The power driving device is arranged on the disc rack or on the back surface of the rotating reflection mirror and driving the rotating reflection mirror to rotate. The control system is connected with the power driving device and controlling the working state of the power driving device.

A heat collector of a dish-type solar thermal power generation system and the solar thermal power generation system having the heat collector. The heat collector of the dish-type solar thermal power generation system comprises a heat collecting cavity and at least one layer of heat absorbing coil. The heat collecting cavity is provided with an opening. The heat absorbing coil forms a cavity structure. The cavity structure is provided with a hole. The cavity structure is arranged within the heat collecting cavity. The hole and the opening are aligned. A low temperature inlet of the heat absorbing coil is arranged on the cavity structure at a location where incident light energy distribution density is at maximum. The heat collector is capable of preventing ablation of the heat absorbing coil due to localized overheating and burning of the heat collector due to abrupt drop in convective heat transfer coefficient caused by phase transition of working fluid.
