The anchor coefficient of the pre-stressed concrete floodgate in the constructed projects is slight larger. Preformed groove can be set in the anchor block to improve the effectiveness of pre-stressed anchor and reduce the anchor coefficient. The size and position of the preformed groove has great influence on pre-stressed floodgate pillar neck and tensile stress of preformed groove upstream and downstream surfaces, and also are key parameters to preformed groove design of the pre-stressed concrete floodgate pillar. The surface stress distribution on the floodgate pillar neck and preformed groove is analyzed and the effect about the size and position of preformed groove on surface stress of the floodgate pillar neck and preformed groove is explored by using ANSYS software. By systematic calculation analysis of the size and position of different preformed grooves and comprehensive consideration of effects of pre-stressed floodgate pillar neck and tensile stress on preformed groove upstream and downstream surfaces, it is revealed that relative reasonable length of preformed groove is 2.5m to 3.0m, the distance between preformed groove and anchor block is 0.5m to 1.5m and the width of preformed groove is 0.3m.
