High accuracy RSSI data gathering is still a great challenge in indoor environment because the measuring procedure is prone to being interfered by barriers or random walking people. This paper thus focused on anti-interference algorithm to improve the RSSI data accuracy. The interference factors concerned with RSSI value measuring process are analyzed firstly. And then the characteristics of different interference sources are discussed in detail. Two kinds of algorithm are proposed to cope with two kinds of interference sources. One is clustering algorithm, which is used to eliminate the burst interference. The other is filter algorithm, which is used to minimize the random noise. Algorithms are tested on Zigbee platform. Experimental results indicate that the proposed approaches could obviously improve the RSSI accuracy. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2015. Source

During the course of thin film deposition, the thin-film thickness wideband monitoring system is utilized, the correction of thickness monitoring depends on overlapping stage of the theoretical transmittance curve and the measured one. The absorption of thin-film material results in the measured spectrum curve deviation from the theoretical spectrum curve. A method in software brings forward, namely before the next layer will be deposited, its theoretical transmittance curve is corrected so that the absorption of layers which have been deposited has no effect on this layer, as such, the theoretical transmittance curve of the layer which will be deposited is corrected until the deposition ends. By experiment, the monitoring error of thin-film thickness is less than 10-3, the result indicates that this method can satisfy the practical requirement. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. Directly applying Discrete Dynamic Bayesian Networks to time-varying environment is highly complex, it mainly dues to: application environment with mutant characteristics; network structure and parameters needing to have the variation; adapt to the uncertainty of sensor observations. To meet the above requirements, proposing the concept of Flexible Discrete Dynamic Bayesian Network, designing a mechanism of flexible model based on muti-model for the discrete-time systems under mutant environment. Based on the above, applying the Forward algorithm to fulfill Flexible Discrete Dynamic Bayesian Network probabilistic inference thus can be able to use uncertainty observations information to obtain a reliable state estimation. © 2012 IEEE. In actual particle filter tracking, the appearance change of objects tends to be very changeful. To address this problem, an adaptive object tracking algorithm based on three-dimensional on-line appearance model is presented. It describes objects by spatial and temporal domains and constructs object's three-dimensional appearance model. Indicating object appearance changes over time by multiple linear space elements, it implements the on-line incremental update of models. Based on the tracking mechanism of particle filter, it estimates and weights each individual element cue online and tracks real-time adaptive moving targets. Three-dimensional online appearance model and online tracking mechanism make the distinguish ability improved between the object and background. Therefore, it ensures the stability of the tracking algorithm when the object appearance changes. Experimental results show that the proposed tracking method could accurately track the moving object on a variety of challenging sequences, and it demonstrates better stability compared with related algorithms, while the target apperance presents various complex changes. ©, 2015, Board of Optronics Lasers. In this paper, we use chaos theory to explain the phenomenon in the field of fashion design. First we do a comparative analysis between nonlinear and garment industry trends of chaos theory, and then discuss the effect of Butterfly Effect to the product positioning of clothing brand, study the relationship of the fractal theory between the integrity and locality of the garment industry brand design. Finally, make examples of the wide range of applications of chaos theory in the field of artistic form design.
