Polyimide (BMP350) composite reinforced by high-strength glass fabric(SW220) were prepared by means of vacuum assistant molding method. Mechanical and thermal-physical properties of composite were studied both at normal and high temperature. The results indicate that SW220/BMP350 polyimide composite possesses higher bending and tensile strength at normal temperature. The conservation rate of composite strength tested at 200°C kept more than 65%. The average coefficient of thermal expansion is in the range(6~8)×10-6K-1. The glass-transition temperature of SW220/BMP350 polyimide composite is about 375°C by dynamic mechanical analysis method.
