Aiming at low accuracy and asymmetrical distribution of wireless sensor network node localization in power network fault detection, the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm based on DV-hop algorithm is presented. According to the improved POS algorithm, the velocity and displacement of particle makes node coordinate of cluster head more accurately in dynamic wireless sensor network node relocation. Then the iterated value of recurrent neural network learning algorithm approximates the ideal inertia weight value and the improved PSO algorithm makes it reach the best search capacity. Finally, after network note dates of each dynamic cluster are collected, Sink nodes enables wireless charging for the node which has run out of electrical energy. Simulation results show that the improved PSO which can effectively extend network lifetime has less error and improves the accuracy in power network positioning 12.8%. © 2017, The Editorial Office of Chinese Journal of Sensors and Actuators. Digital distance relay based on line RL model algorithm is firstly developed successfully in China, which has been used widely for high-voltage transmission line protection. However, it has some limits in being directly used for series compensated line. Thus, a new improved RL model based single-phase ground fault location algorithm for series compensated line is proposed. It is well considered of the effect of non-linear MOV and compensated capacitor on actual reactance of transmission line. Compared with conventional fault location algorithm for series compensated line, it does not need to identify whether SC/MOV is in fault loop, and not need to know the parameters and the operating states of SC/MOV/GAP. Simulation results with EMTDC/PSCAD and Matlab show that the proposed algorithm can obtain more accurate results than conventional fault location algorithms for series compensated transmission lines. ©, 2015, Power System Protection and Control Press. Transient stability control of power system is a non-linear optimization problem which contains many constraints. Considering the cost of preventive control, emergency control and the following restorative control synthetically, a model of preventive control and emergency control based on DSR(Dynamic Security Region) and probabilistic insecurity measurement is proposed in the paper, and the optimal operating point of the system was obtained by using the improved genetic algorithm. In the end, the feasibility of the model and optimization strategy are verified by the case of the IEEE 4-generators 11-nodes system. Simulation show that the cost of comprehensive control of prevention and emergency is 13.2% less than the case that without the consideration of the random factors of the fault. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

To improve the voltage quality, optimize reactive distribution and decrease losses in the region electric network, a voltage/reactive power linkage and coordinated control system for city and county electric power is developed. The system dynamically sends gateway reactive directives to country voltage and reactive control system when city reactive capacity is not enough, which depends on residuary reactive in the country electric network to compensate the reactive vacancy of city electric network in time. Considering city's 220 kV substations actual gateway reactive value and combining the province gateway reactive directives sent to city, this paper decides the gateway reactive value sending to country voltage and reactive control system, and illuminates the scheme to realize voltage and reactive linkage and coordinated control for regional electric network. Practical operation shows that the system is conducive to improving the voltage level, promote the rational distribution of reactive power, and decrease the loss of regional power grid, bringing economic and social benefits for power supply enterprises.

A nitro aromatic explosives sensor based on fluorescence quenching was studied in this paper. U-shaped plastic optical fiber was used as sensor head and light emitting conjugated polymer MEH-PPV as fluorescence indictor. The light source was modulated sinusoidal to eliminate the external light disturbance. TNT quenching characteristics of fluorescence intensity were measured; When TNT concentration was lower than 10mg/ml, the relationship between fluorescence intensity and TNT concentration was linearly, when TNT concentration was higher than 10mg/100ml the obtained characteristics showed deviation from linear relation described by Stern-Volmer equation. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The sensing characteristics of light emitting conjugated polymer MEH-PPV for nitro aromatic explosives were studied in this paper. MEH-PPV was deposited on the surface of U-shaped plastic optical fiber (POF) using dip-coating techniques. The influences of MEH-PPV concentrations and bending radius of the U-shaped sensor heads on the sensitivity of the sensor were studied. The sensor was found to be most sensitive to TNT range from 0 to 4 mg/100 ml and the sensitivity was about 4 ng/ml. The limit of detections was around 1-10 ng/ml. It was also found that the conjugated polymer changes color from red to brownish black when the sensor head was put into TNT solution which provided high selectivity for sensing TNT at room temperature. © 2011 Elsevier B.V. This paper is to propose a new self-decelerating permanent-magnet (PM) in-wheel motor for low-speed and high-torque drive of electric vehicles (EVs). This motor uses sensorless control and integrates advantages of magnetic gear and those of PM machine together while gear inner rotor is removed. The key is the magnetic gear, which can reduce the size of the motor and achieve the similar torque amplification provided by a mechanical gearbox and does not require maintenance or cause breakdown issues. The topology and the operating principle of the proposed in-wheel motor are analyzed; the effects of flux modulated by the magnetic gear and the static characteristics are investigated by using the finite-element analysis. To solve the problems of mechanical sensors, an improved sliding model observer for sensorless control is studied. Then, the evaluation of the system performances is conducted by the simulation based on the MATLAB/Simulink and the experiment based on a prototype. Both the simulation and the experimental results show that the system can provide low-speed high-torque driving for EVs without mechanical gears and sensors. © 1982-2012 IEEE.

This paper mainly designs the communication procedures between Heilongjiang Ethernet IEC103 protocol and Qiqihaer power plant subsystem. First, the different points between Heilongjiang Ethernet 103 protocol and other IEC103 protocol are introduced and the real communication network on spot project is discussed. By using TPC communication designs of the communication connection modules, substation configuration modules, setting transmission modules, wave file transmission modules, etc, the transmission credibility of the communication data in Heilongjiang PRFIS subsystem including measurement, signal, setting value, wave data file (*. Hdr, *.cfg, *. dat) is guaranteed. Finally, it is indicated that the compressing and encrypting data transmission of Heilongjiang Ethernet IEC103 protocol can be conducted by users themselves and the protocol data analysis in substation functional level can also be done personally.

The distance relays of transmission lines find limitations in the presence of series compensated capacitor. One of them is the distance relay setting issue, in which either over-reach problem or under-reach problem may occur. To deal with this issue, a differential equation based adaptive distance relaying setting method for series compensated line is proposed. As for it do not need to identify whether SC/MOV is in fault loop, not need to know the parameters and the operating states of SC/MOV/GAP, and furthermore, it can be realized without the iterative calculation, it is very suitable to be used for the distance relaying adaptive setting of series compensated line. Simple simulation results certificate the proposed adaptive setting method. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
