Each first axis electrode includes a plurality of first sub-electrodes and a plurality of first connection parts disposed between two adjacent first sub-electrodes. Each second axis electrode includes a plurality of second sub-electrodes and a plurality of second connection parts disposed between two adjacent second sub-electrodes. The second sub-electrodes and the second connection parts are monolithically formed. The first sub-electrodes and the second sub-electrodes are disposed on an identical surface. The first insulation layer is disposed on and completely covers the first axis electrodes. The first insulation layer is partially disposed between the first connection part and the second connection part. The first axis electrodes are disposed between the first insulation layer and the substrate.

Each first electrode set includes first electrodes separated by a first space between one another. Each second electrode set includes second electrodes separated by a second space between one another. One of a width of each second electrode and a width of each first electrode is increased along a first direction, and the other one is decreased along the first direction, wherein at least one of the second space is not aligned to at least one of the first space so that an extended trajectory of the at least one of the second space passes through one of the first electrodes. Two adjacent first electrodes are electrically independent and two adjacent second electrodes are electrically independent.

The touch panel includes a substrate, pads, at least one grounding pad, a touch-sensing device, and at least one ESD protection line. The touch panel includes a pad area and an active area. The pads and the grounding pad are disposed on the substrate and located in the pad area. The touch-sensing device is disposed on the substrate and located in the active area. The ESD protection line is disposed on the substrate and located at a side of the active area. The protection layer including a first opening covers the touch panel and a portion of the pad area is exposed by the first opening. The conductive optical adhesive layer is disposed on the protection layer and electrically connected to the ESD protection circuit.
