The possibilities of optimizing the characteristics of diffractive structures are analysed. A functional block diagram of a subsystem of diffractive structure optimization is shown. Next, a description of the method for the multicriterion optimization of diffractive structures is given. We then consider an algorithm for selecting the main criterion in the process of optimization. The algorithm efficiency is confirmed by an example of optimization of the diffractive structure. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In the paper we consider the possibility of constructing models of objects that have the maximum average values of the characteristics of scattering at a certain sector of angles. For optimization of these characteristics we use genetic algorithm. We developed algorithm on the base of the dependencies of the characteristic dimensions of a hollow structure with a maximum average values of the characteristics of scattering were calculated. © 2017 The Authors.

The issues concerning the construction of objects with extreme average values of scattering characteristics are discussed. Based on the optimization approach using the "ant algorithm", the dimensions dependencies were calculated for a two-dimensional metal cylinder with a lateral wall of complex shape having the maximum average values of the scattering characteristics. Based on the generalization of information concerning the components that represent a cylinder, it is proposed to build CAD subsystems (computer aided design systems) for designing the average characteristics of objects. The object of complex shape is represented as a set of components. The type of components, the observation angles sector, and the required level for the average scattering characteristics are chosen as the input data for subsystems. In this article, a correlation analysis is applied as part of the developed procedure. The correlation makes it possible to determine the component characteristics of the object in question based on the maximum of correlation coefficient.

The purpose of the research is the application of parallel computations when solving the problems of estimating the characteristics on the subject is complex within the framework of the method of edge waves. This paper describes the methods for estimation the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic waves in Wi-Fi communications. Using mathematical relationships below, an algorithm was built for estimating the degree of attenuation of radio waves in the urban environment. Considered algorithm ignores natural interference caused by the propagation of electromagnetic waves (including broadband). The program was created for solving the problem of wave propagation. In the paper we consider the processes of scattering of electromagnetic waves on the cavities with complex shape. The particularities of the method of moments are given. The advantages of the method of integral equations are shown. In solving the integral equation by the method of moments as basis functions chosen us piecewise constant functions and test functions-δ-Dirac function. The universality of the considered algorithm is due to the fact that for the calculation of the scattering characteristics of perfectly conducting hollow structures of various forms necessary to change the outline of a structure when programming with regard to the necessary steps of the partition—the main steps of the algorithm are the same. In the paper we consider the processes of scattering of electromagnetic waves on the objects with complex shape. Different types of methods, depending from the wavelength are analyzed. The main steps of the solution of the problem of scattering of electromagnetic waves on the object with complex shape are discussed. The possibilities of use the parallel approach for calculation is discussed. Based on integral equations method developed an algorithm for the numerical solution of the problem, with the help of parallel algorithm of the method the Gauss described the process of parallelization. The article is devoted to analysis of error-correcting capabilities of codes. Encoding of text, audio and video information was considered, the authors tested error-correcting capability of the following codes: Hamming, Bose-Choudhuri -Hoquenghem (BCH) and Reed-Muller. Effectiveness of BCH and Reed-Muller codes was tested on files in MPEG-2 format, because this format is basic for transmission of the video-flow in IP-television.
