This article documents the serious and frequent cerebrovascular disease. The most common cause of stroke according to a specific diagnostic algorithm can be prevented by treating carotid atherosclerosis. This algorithm is insufficient and poses a significant research challenge to study in detail to discover a solution. Earlier solutions illustrate on this matter the potential of carotid ultrasound picture analysis with a high cost and innovative imaging on plaque composition & stability. This paper illustrates the potential of carotid ultrasound picture analysis towards this direction with ultrasound imaging being a low cost picture based features revealing the information on plaque composition and stability. Systematic applications are used to diagnose & find results & orient future research. A bright respective for clinical scenario is diagnosed for atherosclerotic patients in low cost. The general project developed in MATLAB platform. Finally validation of results shows both in hardware and application, the information of vulnerability or non-vulnerability of plaque is displayed.

A semiorganic nonlinear optical single crystal was grown from aqueous solution by a slow evaporation method at room temperature. The characterisation of the crystal was made using single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction analysis and it was found to be the . l-threonine cadmium chloride (LTCC) crystallised in an orthorhombic crystal system with noncentro symmetric space group. The UV-Vis spectroscopic study reveals that the crystal has good optical transparency and the lower cut off wavelength was found to be 332. nm. The presence of functional groups was identified by FTIR spectra. The percentage of carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen was analysed by elemental analysis. The micro hardness was tested by using a Vicker s micro hardness tester. The nonlinear optical property was confirmed by the Kurtz Perry powder technique and it was found to be 0.7 times higher than the pure potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP) crystal. © 2014.

The ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity have been measured at 301 K by the ternary mixtures of alcohols (pentanol, hexanol, heptanol, octanol and decanol) with dimethylketone in carbon tetrachloride / benzene systems. From the measured values evaluated the following acoustical parameter viz. adiabatic compressibility, acoustic impedance, relaxation time, relative association intermolecular free length, free volume, available volume, molar volume, Wadas constant and Rao’s constant, Linard-John potential. The natures of intermolecular interaction in the liquid mixtures have been explained on the basis of the variation of acoustical parameter. It is found that the interaction between non-polar molecules decreases with the increase in alcohol chain length. © 2015, RASĀYAN. All rights reserved.

The review focuses on accidents, hazards and risks in industries. Safety and security lapses are resulting in accidents and disaster in industries and hence they need to be prevented.Safety education is the proactive development of knowledge,attitude,behaviour and skill of the workers on safety. Good safe attitude,behaviour and skill evolved by the safety education contributes to the overall accident reduction programme in the industry. Safety education is primarily the process of imparting the knowledge of safe and unsafe mechanical conditions, safe and unsafe personal practices and of remedial measures.This paper deals with a brief discussion on the relevant work carried out based on published research literature. © EuroJournals Publishing, Inc. 2011.

Problem statement: To understand and appreciate the safety and security management systems in industries with a view to find out critical areas requiring attention so as to enhance the effectiveness of safety management systems and security management systems in large, medium and small scale industries. Approach: The study was restricted to Large, Medium and Small scale industries located in Tamilnadu, Kerala, Pondycherry, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh states of India. The data have been randomly collected from 45 samples each from Large, Medium and Small scale industries. This study has taken into the account of 6 major elements namely management commitment, documentation, facilities, promotion, procedure and training and each major elements having 6 sub elements thus consisting of 36 sub elements of safety management systems and 36 sub elements of security management systems. The sub-elements are prepared such as to reflect the availability of the safety and security management system in industries. Results: Major accident hazard industries require more attention towards safety and security management systems. The safety management system has gained more prevalence than security management system in large scale industries than the medium and small scale industries. The safety management system has considerable prevalence than security management system in medium scale industries than the small scale industries. The safety and security management system have more or less the same prevalence in the small scale industries. Conclusion: All the industries should devise systems for the adoption and implementation of safety and security management system. Security failures can lead to safety failures and hence they must be given equal importance. The major accident hazard industries should adopt all the safety and security management elements. All the elements of safety and security management systems should be given equal importance for effective and safe functioning of the industries. The security management system is an upcoming field which needs to be sincerely implemented in the industries in the present scenario of global terrorism. The safety and security management system should go together in a coherent manner to reduce the societal risk. © 2010 Science Publications.

Dielectric permittivity, refractive indices and density were measured for the mixtures of aliphatic esters, like methyl acetate, ethyl acetate and butyl acetate with aromatic hydrocarbons like o-xylene, p-xylene and m-xylene at 303K. The measurements like excess permittivity, linear correlation factor, Bruggemann factor for six binary mixtures were measured for whole concentration range. These parameters were used to predict the nature of molecular interactions of same or different kinds of molecules and solute-solvent interactions. This shows the symmetric changes in dielectric behaviour with the variation of concentration. Further theoretical permittivity rules were calculated for the above five binary mixtures models. The relative merits of these models have been discussed in terms of standard deviation and percentage deviation. ©2015 RASĀYAN. All rights reserved.

Experimental and theoretical ultrasonic velocity of the binary mixtures of alcohols with carbon tetrachloride systems have been find at 303K, The following theoretical methods such as, Nomotos relation, Van Dael relations, Impedance relations, Junjies relation, Impedance relations, Rao relations are used to calculate the theoretical ultrasonic velocity. Theoretical values are compared with experimental values to find the merits of the relations and check the validity of theses theoretical models by using percentage error and average percentage deviations. The dipole moment of the 1:1 complexes of benzaldehyde and p-benzaldehyde with phenol, o-chlorophenol, mchlorophenol and p-chlorophenol at 303K have been determined by using Huysken's method based on the Onsager theory. The dipolar increments of the systems were computed from the experimental dipole moment of the complexes. The enhancement of the dipolar increment values confirms the hydrogen bonding between all the systems. The dipolar increment is negative indicate the predominant of polarization interaction taking place all the systems. ©2015 RASĀYAN. All rights reserved.

The dielectric measurements of dielectric constant, density and refractive index has been measured at 301 K for the systems of benzaldehyde, and substituted benzaldehyde with solvents like acetone, carbon tetrachloride and benzene. Make use of these measurements to calculate the dipole moment for Huysken's method. The dipole moment of acetone not match with the literature value indicates that acetone more associative than the other solvents also predict the Kirkwood - Frohlich linear correlation factor (g). The data provide information about the nature of interactions. The order of interactions of the solvents are acetone > benzene > carbon tetrachloride with benzaldehydes and chloro substituted benzaldehyde as one of the components.
