Geochemical investigations of oils and Cretaceous, Jurassic and Pre-Jurasslc rocks were performed for eastern part of West Siberia. A role of different source rocks in oil and gas formation was evaluated based on Rock-Eval pyrolysls results and distribution types of oil in a territory. Showed that source rocks are absent among Cretaceous deposits. Jurassic and Pre-Jurassic rocks were a main source for oil.

Non-traditional methods of geological intersection geo-electiical research were studied. These Include geo-electrical research of the short-impulse field formation (SIFF) and vertical electro-resonance sensing formation (VERSF). SIFF - VERSF research was carried out in 2009-2010 on the territory of the Vankorskoye field In Rosneft and Vankorneft license areas to evaluate local uplifts oil and gas bearing. As a result of the conducted research on Khlglinskiy. Talyy and Tukolandskaya group local uplifts a conclusion was made about the prospectivity of this methodology, and it was recommended to Include the latest into the complex of geologic-geophysical methods of hydrocarbon deposits search and exploration.

A method of interpretation of horizontal well pressure-transient, when the time for study is not enough to get the full information necessary to determine all the parameters of bottomhole zone, is suggested. The method is based on the integration of data of field-geophysical studies and geological and hydrodynamic models for the restoration of all the required parameters. Examples of this method application for interpretation of the data of pressure-transient for three wells of Vankor field are given.

In August 2009, the oil-trunk pipeline Vankorskoye field - KNPS Purpe, 820 mm dia. was put into operation, providing oil transfer from Vankorskoye field of Oil Company Rosneft to oil-trunk system of Transneft AK OAO. For the first time a pipeline was subjected to full-scale test. including hydro-test of above-ground pipeline section 228,7 km long and pneumatic test of underground, trenched pipeline section 327,8 km long. Such works required state-of-the-art scientific and technical approach In the field of strength theory, metrological technique, electronics and compressoring. Pneumo-testing allowed putting the oil pipeline Into operation in-time, assuring its high quality.

The optimum type of compensators is determined. Remanifolding of the suction and discharge nozzles of the main pump, taking Into account the installation of bellows compensator is developed. The manufacturer of compensators, providing the most relevant characteristics on the pump nozzles unloading, is chosen. Additional measures on the debugging of the pipeline supports in the pumphouse building are developed.

Provision for oil, gas, and water surface rate measurements from every production well is one of the most required issues for effective field development management. Due to the oil degassing during lift to the surface, gas and water breakthroughs, and high liquid rates, this task has become serious challenge for the Vankor wells. Preliminary, cyclonebased gas-separators have been considered in the field as the means for primary phase separation and consequent measurement of the each phase rate using Coriolis-based mass metering units. Another unit type for multiphase flow rate measurements uses Venturi tube and radioactive source for gas and water holdups measurement. Inflow performance relationships were plotted, average well drainage area was estimated, and reservoir properties distribution was précised based on the Improvement of measurement accuracy.

The article reviews Vankor field area resource base status. The involvement concept for explored and prospective oil reserves owned by various license holders within the framework of Vankor project execution is explicated in the article. This article reveals experience of applying stream line analysis for monitoring the development of the Vankorskoye oil-gas-condensate field. Regular stream line model updating is an indispensable condition for efficient applying of stream line analysis. Stream line analysis provides important quantitative information about water injection distribution, which is used for injection efficiency and allocation factors calculation. Then this data is exploited in calculating wells operating practices and planning reservoir pressure maintaining program.
