CAM systems are most widespread way to create cnc programs. Possibility of optimization, simulation of machining, shorter lead time, and flexibility are biggest benefits. Some of most used CAM systems are GibbsCam, PowerMill, AlphaCam, Surfcam, and Edgecam. Next article shows making of NC program in Edgecam. The paper presents aspects about the toothed gears quality manufactured through reverse extrusion. The tribo-system of plastic deformation punch-toothed gear-active plate is very complex. The material flowing process is influenced by a lot of parameters with too little known actions: deformation degree ε, teeth number z, module m, tooth high h and tool - extruded material friction coefficient μ. This tribo-system can be evaluated with some specific quality indicators. Researches present the way in which utilization of different parameters may have a favorable influence on flow quality and on manufactured toothed gears. Source

This scientific paper approaches some fundamental issues relating to the grinding technology for gears with asymmetric teeth. Without exposing the detailed practical know-how, the principles of individual processing of each flank will be presented, and two basic methods will be identified. The machine tool adjustment for each flank allows the grinding of both of the tooth sides. The flanks of a toothed gear have been grinded. The grinding technological solution and the precision data resulting from the main test parameters will be presented. The technology of grinding gears with asymmetric teeth can be implemented. This paper tackles the need for modeling in understanding the ball nose end milling process. This milling process is presented by means of CAD methods. Starting with a background of these methods applied in metal cutting, the paper presents the integration of the metal cutting tribology into the CAD environment to obtain some results of the cutting process by simply simulating it. An interpretation of these results according to the data provided by the tool manufacturers is also shown. Source
