One of the major themes in the contemporary society - greatly affected by hyper-competition, globalization and rapid change in the behavior of demand agents (buyers) - consists of theoretical debates and practical challenges raised in relation to the concept of brand. There seems to be no clear-cut distinction, both in theory and particularly in practice, between brand, producer's brand, dealer's brand, store brand or corporate brand. Therefore, brand equity is even more important to corporate stakeholders. The present research attempts to capture customers' perception of some dimensions typical of Romanian fashion retailers and how these dimensions are reflected in the customer-based brand equity. The analysis, conducted from the perspective of customers of fashion, sporting goods and shoe stores, has significant managerial and scientific implications. In fact, the authors highlight specific directions that the management of fashion retailers may take to have customers adopt a particular behavior of preference or recommendation of stores so as to increase their trust in, and appeal of the said retailers as well as the quantity of purchased goods. In other words, it is important for the management of the fashion retailers to identify the most appropriate way whereby they can, through synergistic efforts, obtain a lasting response from demand agents. This paper presents the results of certain researches regarding the influence of azo dyes and pigments used in the dyeing and printing of textiles, on health and, in particular, on the possibility of triggering certain allergic reactions or cancer. The development of carcinogenic amines is believed to be the major factor determining the carcinogenic potential of a given dye. In most cases, allergies have been caused by the utilization of dispersion dyes on synthetic materials, meant for the manufacturing of textile items or toys which exhibited a low colour Î resistance. The dye extraction degree from textile materials varies depending on the number of washing/wear cycles, the pH level, the perspiration acidity/alkalinity, etc. In the manufacture of dyes, an alternative to aromatic amines is the use of aromatic sulphonate amines, which do not have a genotoxic effect, or, if they do it is, in general, very low. In order to get an even structure ot the knits, their manufacturing process should be analyzed trom the perspective or more parameters. Adopting some optimal values of the knitting operation parameters leads to the resistance increase of the knit achieved and represents an important condition in reaching its superior quality. In the paper, it is presented the influence of the course density and the turn of the knitting machine over the breaking force shown by the jersey knits made of 100% cotton, Nm 60/1 yarns. For graphics representation and data analyses, it was used Mathcad 14. Source

In this paper were analyzed and interpreted the colour characteristics of dyed samples, based on remission curves. The correlation between the remission dying and the dyes concentration, for wool dyeing with acid dyes was also studied. There have been dying with two acid dyes on 100% wool fabric, six levels of concentration, ranging between 0,1% - 2,0%, in specific conditions of wool dyeing with acid dyes. Remission curves were drawn for two dyes: red and yellow and mixtures of two dyes take in equal parts, in the visible spectral domain. Based on these remission curves, were analyzed and interpreted the following: the colour characteristics for dyed samples, the correlation between remission colour and the concentration of dyes and the interaction between the dyes in mixing pain.
