According to the present situation that key nuclides in primary coolant can not be monitored in real-time, various influencing factors of rapidly measuring nuclides were analyzed, and the improved key nuclide method was proposed based on the decay properties of nuclides. The results indicate that the speed and accuracy of measuring short-lived fission nuclides are improved by packet-segmentation measurement with portable γ spectrometer. Source

Combined with the characters of sites and based on determined radiological consequences evaluation method, the individual effective dose and the thyroid dose of the public were computed for a typical beyond design basis accident of a 200 MW PWR. Based on relevant experience of existing emergency planning zone and actual situation of the site, by comparing the estimating value of dose to intervention level of standard, plume emergency planning zones were determined primarily. An effective method for plume emergency planning zone dividing was offered, and a scientific basis was provided for nuclear accident emergency decision. Source

The structures simplified from the outside cooling of the passive containment cooling system (PCCS), was numerically simulated, with the aim to study its effects on the residual heat removal during nuclear accidents. Characteristics of the PCCS outside cooling only with natural forces driving were obtained, based on which the coupled heat transfers among the downcomer channel, the baffle plate and the riser channel were discussed. Finally, the width of the downcomer channel on the PCCS outside cooling was analyzed, and it indicated that the downcomer channel should be considered for long vertical section. © 2016, Yuan Zi Neng Chuban She. According to the individual feature identification method and combining with the characteristics of nuclear accident emergency decision-making, the evaluation index system of the nuclear accident emergency decision-making was determined on the basis of investigation and analysis. The effectiveness of the nuclear accident emergency decision-making was evaluated based on the individual standards by solving the individual features of the individual standard identification decisions. The case study shows that the optimization result is reasonable, objective and reliable, and it can provide an effective analysis method and decision-making support for optimization of nuclear accident emergency protective measures.
