The main problem of exploitation the oil and gas deposits is how to get the completeness of extraction hydrocarbons from productive collectors. It's very important to don't miss oil- and gas-bearing beds. There is one kind of "difficult" collectors, namely productive collectors in which a low-resistively penetration zone was formatted. As a rule these collectors are recognizing as water-bearing. New computer technology - the temporal sounding technique in Impulse neutron-neutron logging - permits to recognize productive collectors of such a type in all stages of exploitation of deposits. The examples of successful computer interpretation of well logging date are considered.

The structure, paleogeography and lithofacies of Rudov Beds of the Lower Carboniferous sequence of the Dnieper-Donets Basin are being considered. The results of the present condition of Rudov Beds researches by the complex of analytical methods are being generalized. The perspectives of Rudov Beds for the prospecting and the exploration of shale gas resources are being defined.

The short characteristics of new information-geological methods, designed within the framework of formed infogeology is in-process given. It is showed that arrival of information-geological methods is under an obligation direct development of geological methods of investigation of the calls related to the tendency of buildup, which presented to the grade, authenticity and others parameters of geological information and over-orientation of geological works on exploration of shallow shallow, difficult on a structure, natural objects of various class. In opinion of authors it is possible to take to such methods: "Method of distinguishing and ranging of multilevel geological objects on the basis of identical studied horizontal and vertical structural and other making data of their geological feature (informative ensuring of constructions)"; "Method of model prognoses of sublocal level objects within the limits of reservoir"; "Presentation of geological information and knowledges by visual frames"; "Multianimation image and investigation of geological objects"; "Method of mapping unstudied extents of geological objects and phenomena". The capability of new informatively-geological methods investigation development is showed.

The sum of author's longstanding work on theoretical elaboration of methodology and paths of geological science development in the conditions of origin and stormy progress of geoinformatic are expounded. The opened economic possibilities of informative presentation of geological information and knowledges allowed to ground the necessity of conduction of structurization and differentiation of geoinformatic with the selection of separate - geological direction in its development. An object and article of researches is forming, a level and scale of geology and informatics cooperation is grounded in forming of "joint" science, principles of new researches methods of creation are expounded and its name is given - infogeology. On the basis of existent geological and new - infogeology methods the complex of prognosis methods, distinguishing and mapping of petroliferous various type objects, is offered to the use at the level of natural reservoir, the results of its practical use are resulted in prognosis geological researches on the selection of new oil and gas perspective objects.

The reliable subdividing of the search units of the oil and gas, before drilling of wells, into productive and not productive, is the big problem for all the oil and gas bearing basins. The big efficiency of the method of electrophysical forecast of the oil and gas presence, on land and sea shelfs, has been shown by the received experience of the use of the method with the aim of such subdividing. This method is offered for the wide using in the exploration, that can speed up considerably discoveries of new oil and gas filds.

To compute the effective matrix from the stack of the layers we use the Baker-Campbell-Hausdorff (BCH) series. From the truncated BCH series we derive the velocity dispersion equation that correctly describes the wave propagation at low frequencies. The explicit equations derived for an acoustic medium, periodically layered medium, medium with monoclinic anisotropy and the vertical propagation case. The derived equations are tested on the two-layer periodically layered medium and on the real well-log data. The first-order correction term in the velocity dispersion equation results in more accurate phase velocity at low frequencies. This correction is an extension of the Backus averaging method and can be used for upscaling of the well-log data and seismic modeling.

The area under consideration is located in the extreme western part of the Ukrainian waters of the Black Sea northwestern shelf. The Marginal (Krayova) terrace is spatially coincided with the conjugation zone positioned between deepwater West Black Sea sub-basin with quazi-oceanic crust and the Scythian platform mobile shelf characterized by heterogeneous and heterochronous basement. Repeated tectonic restructuring epochs, erosional events and incision of submarine canyons taken place during Meso-Cenozoic history of the region and caused facies diversity and different completeness of the sedimentary column especially for carbonate rocks. This study is focused on structural geology and petroleum potential issues for the carbonate Cretaceous-Eocene reservoir rocks of the Marginal terrace. The results of this study allow us to draw conclusions on carbonate reservoir rocks local development and new prospects for oil and gas exploration within the studied area.

A method for numerical modelling of three-component (3C) three-dimensional (3D) wavefields in horizontally layered attenuative medium is derived. The method is based on delta-operators, six-dimensional Stroh formalism and Haskell-Thomson matrix method. The earth model consists of several multi-fractured layers, each of which represented by anisotropic medium model with attenuation. The attenuative fractured medium model is described by Schoenberg's linear slip formalism developed further more by introduction of the complex-valued weaknesses in the stiffness matrix. The numerical modelling method is validated for simplified earth model, which is attenuative HTI medium due to single fracture set. The Q-anisotropy and velocity anisotropy revealed from simulated wavefiedls fairly match theory-predicted quantities.
