The sum of author's longstanding work on theoretical elaboration of methodology and paths of geological science development in the conditions of origin and stormy progress of geoinformatic are expounded. The opened economic possibilities of informative presentation of geological information and knowledges allowed to ground the necessity of conduction of structurization and differentiation of geoinformatic with the selection of separate - geological direction in its development. An object and article of researches is forming, a level and scale of geology and informatics cooperation is grounded in forming of "joint" science, principles of new researches methods of creation are expounded and its name is given - infogeology. On the basis of existent geological and new - infogeology methods the complex of prognosis methods, distinguishing and mapping of petroliferous various type objects, is offered to the use at the level of natural reservoir, the results of its practical use are resulted in prognosis geological researches on the selection of new oil and gas perspective objects. The reliable subdividing of the search units of the oil and gas, before drilling of wells, into productive and not productive, is the big problem for all the oil and gas bearing basins. The big efficiency of the method of electrophysical forecast of the oil and gas presence, on land and sea shelfs, has been shown by the received experience of the use of the method with the aim of such subdividing. To compute the effective matrix from the stack of the layers we use the Baker-Campbell-Hausdorff (BCH) series. From the truncated BCH series we derive the velocity dispersion equation that correctly describes the wave propagation at low frequencies. The explicit equations derived for an acoustic medium, periodically layered medium, medium with monoclinic anisotropy and the vertical propagation case. The derived equations are tested on the two-layer periodically layered medium and on the real well-log data. The first-order correction term in the velocity dispersion equation results in more accurate phase velocity at low frequencies. This correction is an extension of the Backus averaging method and can be used for upscaling of the well-log data and seismic modeling. Source

The main problem of exploitation the oil and gas deposits is how to get the completeness of extraction hydrocarbons from productive collectors. It's very important to don't miss oil- and gas-bearing beds. There is one kind of "difficult" collectors, namely productive collectors in which a low-resistively penetration zone was formatted. As a rule these collectors are recognizing as water-bearing. New computer technology - the temporal sounding technique in Impulse neutron-neutron logging - permits to recognize productive collectors of such a type in all stages of exploitation of deposits. The examples of successful computer interpretation of well logging date are considered. Source
