To provide a differentiation inducer to brown-like adipocytes of white adipocytes containing a novel compound having an excellent differentiation induction action to brown-like adipocytes of white adipocytes as compared with resveratrol. A differentiation inducer to brown-like adipocytes of white adipocytes which is a reaction product of hydroxystilbenes and sinapic acid and contains a compound represented by Formula (1) or a pharmacologically permissible salt thereof: [Chemical Formula 1] in which, in Formula (1), R_(1 )to R_(4 )represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched alkoxy group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms and R_(1 )to R_(4 )each may be the same or different.


This invention relates to a resveratrol polymerization compound represented by Formula (1) (in which, in Formula (1), R_(1 )and R_(2 )represent OH or Formula (2) and R_(1 )and R_(2 )are not the same) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and an anticancer agent, an anticancer agent for oral cancer, an antioxidant, an antibacterial agent, a lipase inhibitor, an antiobesity agent, a therapeutic agent for skin diseases, a food, a pharmaceutical agent, a quasi drug, or a cosmetic containing one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of the resveratrol polymerization compound and the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

Provided is an antifeeding agent including a (hydroxystilbene compound)-(sinapinic acid) reaction product represented by Formula (1) (in Formula (1), each of R_(1 )to R_(4 )is a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, a saturated or unsaturated, straight or branched chain alkoxy group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or a saturated or unsaturated, straight or branched chain alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; and R_(1 )to R_(4 )are optionally the same as or different from each other) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. There are provided an oral composition and a confection that exhibit activity equivalent to or higher than that of a decanoic acid-containing composition, and a method for producing such an oral composition. The oral composition and the confection contain at least three ingredients: cinnamon, low molecular proanthocyanidin, and menthol. The method for producing, the oral composition includes the steps of: dissolving at least 0.2 to 1.0% by weight of low molecular proanthocyanidin in 0.2 to 2.0% by weight of at least one water-soluble solvent selected from glycerin or propylene glycol to form a solution; kneading at least 0.1 to 0.5% by weight of cinnamon and 0.1 to 0.4% by weight of menthol into sugar-free base dough to prepare candy- or gel-like kneaded dough; and mixing the solution with the kneaded dough.

An object of the present invention is to improve the productivity in producing a soft candy having a new food texture and to provide a gummy-containing soft candy having a new food texture that can exhibit advantage effects of the soft candy and the gummy being used in combination and that is produced at drastically improved productivity and the production method thereof. A gummy-containing soft candy, characterized in that a linear gummy having a water content of 10 to 25 wt % is inserted into a soft candy dough containing one or more carbohydrates as solid matter, as the linear gummy is enclosed by the soft candy dough and the linear gummy contains starch. The gummy-containing soft candy is produced by simultaneous extrusion of a gummy dough and a soft candy dough.


Provided are a water activity reducing agent including two or more carbohydrates selected from the group consisting of sorbitol (A), glucose (B), xylitol (C), erythritol (D), and glycerin (E), a food product including the water activity reducing agent, and a method for reducing the water activity of a food product using the water activity reducing agent.
