A method for degrading a readily degradable resin composition comprising an aliphatic polyester (A) which is biodegradable, and an aliphatic polyester (B) which releases an acid upon hydrolysis and which is biodegradable at a higher degradation rate than that of the aliphatic polyester (A), the method comprising degrading the readily degradable resin composition in an enzyme reaction liquid containing a degradation enzyme, and an acid neutralizing agent incompatible with the enzyme reaction liquid.

A synthetic resin container includes a bottom part having a bottom plate part present at the center of the bottom part and a peripheral part positioned at the periphery of the bottom plate part. The peripheral part includes a grounding part having an inside slope rising outwardly of the container with the outer peripheral edge of the bottom plate part being a start point, and an outside slope continuing to the side surface of the bottom part. When a load is applied in the axial direction in the state where the container stands upright on the grounding surface, the shape of the bottom part changes reversibly such that the bottom plate part is depressed inwardly to the container. Thus, it is possible to avoid deformation of the container into an unintended shape if a load is applied to the container in the axial direction, and to ensure the rigidity thereof.

A method of producing a powder of fatty acid metal salt for forming ultrafine metal particles includes washing the fatty acid metal salt so that the amount of unreacted substance or by-product is 4.0 mol % or less when the fatty acid metal salt is formed; preparing a pressed cake by pressing the fatty acid metal salt; and drying the pressed cake so that the water content is 200 ppm or less. The powder has a property for deodorizing mercaptan smelling components and/or a property for inactivating microproteins.

A multilayered container with excellent heat resistance which is obtained by melt molding and has an interlayer made of an oxygen-absorbing barrier resin composition. The multilayered container comprises inner and outer layers comprising an olefin resin and, sandwiched between the inner and outer layers, an interlayer made of an oxygen-absorbing barrier resin composition. The multilayered container is one formed by melt molding. In thermal analysis of a container barrel part, it has a quantity of heat of isothermal crystallization after heating from 30 C. to 130 C. at 100 C./min of 0.5 J/g or larger. In the analysis, the barrel part, after cooling from 200 C. to 130 C. at 100 C./min, gives an isothermal crystallization profile in which the time period to a peak top is shorter than that in a multilayered container including an interlayer consisting only of the base resin (oxygen-barrier resin) constituting the oxygen-absorbing barrier resin composition.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a two-component curable oxygen-absorbing resin composition that has both oxygen-absorbing and adhesive properties and cohesive power. The resin for an oxygen-absorbing adhesive is a polyester comprising structural units derived from an acid component (A) and an acid component (B), wherein the ratio of the acid component (A) to total acid components is 70% to 95 mol %, the ratio of the acid component (B) to total acid components is 0% to 15 mol %, the polyester has a glass transition temperature of 20 C. to 2 C., the resin is cured using a hardening agent, the acid component (A) is tetrahydrophthalic acid or a derivative thereof, or tetrahydrophthalic acid anhydride or a derivative thereof, and the acid component (B) is phthalic acid.
