A vibration damping device including first and second mounting members elastically connected to each other by a main rubber elastic body, and a bracket member mounted to the second mounting member and providing a stopper for restricting displacement of the first mounting member relative to the second mounting member by means of abutment between the first mounting member and the bracket member. The second mounting member includes an input portion that faces the first mounting member at a given distance. The bracket member includes an abutting portion that faces the first mounting member with the input portion being interposed therebetween. An abutting rubber layer is provided on a surface of the input portion overlapped on the abutting portion. The stopper is constituted, by abutment between the first mounting member and the abutting portion via the input portion.

A polymer speaker (1) is configured to include an electrostrictive element (10) having an elastomer or resin dielectric layer (11) and a plurality of electrode layers (12a, 12b) arranged on the front and back surfaces of the dielectric layer (11). The electrode layers (12a, 12b) are formed from a conductive material including a polymer binder and a conductor and having a modulus of elasticity of 100 MPa or less. The spring constant of the electrode layers (12a, 12b) in the surface direction is smaller than the spring constant of the dielectric layer (11) in the surface direction. The volume resistivity of the electrode layers (12a, 12b) is 200 cm or less. The polymer speaker (1) provides a practical sound pressure in a wide frequency region from low frequencies to high frequencies.

A resin fuel tube is provided, which includes at least one resin layer, wherein the resin layer is made of a resin composition comprising: (A) a polypropylene prepared through polymerization with the use of a metallocene catalyst; and (B) a polypropylene material having a melting point of 137 C. to 160 C., the resin composition having a mixing weight ratio of the components (A) and (B) satisfying (A)/(B)=95/5 to 50/50, wherein the resin layer has a structure such that a soft structural portion (Y) of the component (A) intrudes into a space between crystalline structural portions (X) of the component (B). Therefore, the resin fuel tube is light-weight, excellent in impact resistance and heat resistance, free from fuel leakage, and usable in an atmosphere at 130 C. or higher, for example, in an automotive engine room or the like.

A vibration-damping rubber composition is provided, which is used as a material for a rubber member of a liquid-filled vibration-damping rubber device in which a glycol liquid is sealingly contained. The rubber composition comprises: (A) a chloroprene rubber as a major component; and (B) an aromatic hydrocarbon plasticizer. The rubber composition makes it possible to suppress increase in the hardness of the rubber member (chamber wall) after thermal aging and reduction in durability.
