A new model-free control chart called Chi square control chart is proposed. Firstly, the autocorrelation function is used to measure the stability of the process. Secondly, appropriate delay time is selected to reduce the data correlation and make data approximately satisfy IID assumption. Then, the Chi square statistics for monitoring are designed through data matching based on phase space reconstruction. Guidelines for designing the control chart are presented by an example of AR (1) process. Result shows that, the control chart cannot only avoid the false alarm when the process is under control, but also can timely detect the variation of the process out of control. This method doesn't need model fitting, and the efficiency in data usage is high for its autoregressive character, which makes it suitable for quality monitoring online. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2013.

In the context of "labor shortage" in china, dispatched employees' voluntary turnover in electronics industry is researched. In view of the characteristics of dispatched employees, employee retention model considered all possible variables is established based on analysis of traditional employee turnover model. 300 questionnaires are handed out by random sampling in three typical electronics industries in Tianjin. The key factors affecting dispatched employees' voluntary turnover are figured out by ANOVA and multiple regressions. Moreover, the motivation of turnover and some feasible suggestions are discussed, which can be referred by enterprises to improve job satisfaction and retention will of dispatched employees. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2013.

Two kinds of fungicides named dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride(1227) and Kathon 886 were experimentally tested in the lab individually or mixed use in order to investigate their sterilization rate and compatibility with polymer. Test results indicate that the mixed usage of two agents with the mass ratio of 1:3 (1227: Kathon 886) achieves better effect than two kinds of fungicides used individually and exhibits a high compatibility with polymer for enhanced oil recovery (EOR), indicating the synergetic effect exists. Under the conditions of no oxygen atmosphere, 53 C and 90 day aging, the polymer viscosity retention rate is 64. 7%. It is concluded that the composite fungicide can be used as a new type of high-effect fungicide in polymer flooding for tertiary oil recovery process.

A macromonomer 4-allyl-heptylphenol AHP was synthesized. The hydrophobic association acrylamide copolymer (PAMA) was synthesized using acrylamide (AM), AHP and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS) by aqueous micelle free radical copolymerization technique. The macromonomer and copolymer were characterized by 1 H-NMR and FT-IR. The effect of AHP dosage, polymer concentration, NaCl concentration and temperature on the viscosity of copolymer solution was tested. The results indicate that the copolymer exhibits good thickening and salt tolerant property by addition of AHP. The apparent viscosity of 1 500 mg/L PAMA with AHP (mole fraction of 1%) in 20 000 mg/L brine solution is up to 178. 6 mPa • s at 53 °C ,and the viscosity of 1 500 mg/L PAMA with AHP (mole fraction of 1%) in 7 000 mg/L brine solution is 110. 8 mPa • s at 90 °C. PAMA displays a good heat-resistant property.

Eu(DBM) 3Phen/PS (DBM = dibenzoylmethide; Phen = 1,10-phenanthroline; PS = polystyrene), a novel fluorescent fiber, was synthesized through electrospinning technology. In order to analyze the fluorescent fiber Eu(DBM) 3phen/PS, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), fluorescence spectra and fluorescence decay curve were measured. The optical transition intensity parameters Ω λ (λ = 2, 4 and 6) were calculated according to the transition intensities of 5D 0 → 7F J (J = 2, 4 and 6). The radiative transition properties of 5D 0 level including transition rates, fluorescence branching ratios and radiative transition lifetime were also calculated. The evaluation of the results suggested that the novel fluorescent fiber Eu(DBM) 3Phen/PS may be a potential efficient luminescent material. © 2011 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Porous α-Fe 2O 3 was synthesized by a simple hydrothermal treatment of FeCl 3 aqueous solution followed by a calcination process. In the synthesis of porous α-Fe 2O 3, no templates or pore-directing agents were used. The as-prepared porous α-Fe 2O 3 was further employed as a support for loading Pt nanoparticles. The gas sensing performance of the obtained porous α-Fe 2O 3-supported Pt to VOCs was investigated. The sensor presented a high response and fast response-recovery characteristic to several VOCs including acetone, ether, methanol, ethanol, butanol and hexanol. Meanwhile, it exhibited a much higher response than the pure α-Fe 2O 3 at the operating temperature of 260°C. The enhanced sensing properties may be related to the unique porous structure of the α-Fe 2O 3 support and the promoting effect of active Pt nanoparticles for the sensing reactions. © 2012 CAS/DICP.

Mono-dispersed microspheres of ternary complex Eu(DBM)3phen (DBM=dibenzoylmethide; phen=1,10-phenanthroline) were prepared through a facile process. The obtained sample was characterized by means of X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). And the luminescence properties of the Eu(DBM)3phen were investigated by the fluorescence spectra and the fluorescence decay. According to JuddOfelt theory, the optical transition intensity parameters Ωλ (λ=2, 4 and 6) were obtained to be 20.99×10-20, 0.98×10-20 and 1.79×10-20 cm2, respectively. The radiative transition properties of 5D0 level, including transition rates, branch ratios and radiative transition lifetime were calculated. As a potential material for microsphere lasers, the optical gain performance for 5D0→7F2 transition was also evaluated. © 2011 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
