A FE program which could adjust heat input automatically according to the temperature at the controlling point was developed based on the heat input tracking method. The temperature distributions of 9% Cr steel pipe in local post weld heat treatment (PWHT) was simulated by using this program. The simulation results were in good agreement with the experimental results. The temperature field distributed as a parabola at the axial direction. There existed approximate linear relationship between metal temperature and radial distance. The temperature variations between the outer wall and the inner wall was about 17~18 ℃ within the distance of two times wall thickness to the weld center. The calculated soak band width according to the local PWHT parameters recommend by current domestic standard was wide enough to meet the requirements of heat treatment. Equivalence point on the outer wall which had the same temperature as the weld center in inner wall was obtained in order to monitor the temperature variation in inner wall during PWHT. © 2015, Harbin Research Institute of Welding. The welded joints of dissimilar steels of T92 and S30432 were prepared by TIG automatic welding process using different welding conditions. The distribution of δ ferrite in the dissimilar welded joints and the effect of welding conditions on the content of ferrite were studied. The results reveal that the block δ ferrite, which is alloying ferrite, is distributed in the fusion zone. The amount and the size of δ ferrite in the bottom and upper zones of the dissimilar welded joint are higher than that in the other zones. The ERNiCrMo-3 filler metal and the small groove angle exhibit a large effect on the δ ferrite. However, the other parameters such as welding interpass temperature, layer number and PWHT temperature show no significant effect on the δ ferrite distribution. ©, 2014, Editorial Office of Transactions of Materials and Heat Treatment. Using Ti, Al, C, TiC powders as raw materials, the Ti 3AlC 2 cemmics material was prepared by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis doping with different content of Si and adjusting content of Al, and studied using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The results indicate that high purity of Ti 3AlC 2 was fabricated with n(Ti):n(Al):n(C):n(TiC):n(Si)=2:1.2:1:0.9:0.1 in molar ratio, which was pressed under a pressure of 50 MPa and synthesized in air atmosphere. The additive Si was uniformly distributed in the matrix. The synthetic product is in sheet shape and little grain structure, the average size of the plate sheet is about 10 μm. The proper addition of Si and the appropriate adjustment of Al are favorable to forming Ti 3AlC 2.Ti 3AlC 2 ceramics material with composition of n(Ti):n(Al):n(C): n(TiC):n(Si)=2:1.2:1:0.9:0.1, and a high purity of 97.75% has got.

The Ti, Al and C powders were used as raw materials for self-propagating high-temperature synthesis. The experimental results show that there is a large amount of Ti2AlC in the system n(Ti):n(Al):n(C)=2:1:1 without addition of TiC. The amout of Ti3AlC2 in the synthesis products increase markedly and the Ti2AlC phase disappear when addition of TiC(x(TiC)≤22.5%). The content of Ti3AlC2 in the fianal product decrease and TiC content increase when addition of x(TiC)>22.5%. The effect of TiC on the phase composition of the synthesis products was analyzed.
