The reason why the naphthalene can't be side-drawn from the traditional benzene-stripping tower was systematically discussed. Through the analysis of the operational conditions of benzene-stripper, the heat-resource selection of rich oil heating and the ways of washing oil regeneration, a series of optimal process and equipment solutions were presented, involving benzene-stripper low-pressure operation, indirectly heating the rich oil by heat conduction oil, washing oil by hot lean oil heating and lean oil regeneration, etc, thus realizing the smooth drawn-out of qualified naphthalene oil by using the same equipment; further reducing the steam consumption and wastewater discharge on the basis of naphthalene drawn-out; and achieving the effect of energy saving and emission reduction. The dehydration unit is a major operating unit in natural gas processing and treatment process, the bubble cap trays and structured packing is very common internals selection in the TEG dehydration process. In this paper, technical and economic differences between them are demonstrated by during column design process based on software process simulation and hydraulic calculation. The result proves that the spray tray has many excellent performances contrasting with structure packing in the field of handling with foaming system, capacity expansion and increasing mass-transfer efficiency. Standard elliptical head welded with skirt on the bottom internal pressure tower was analyzed by employing of the third strength theory and Rhodes parameters of the Gubkin Z-shaped map. In some cases, the standard elliptical head just under the elastic instability occurs advancer than under the internal pressure, so higher demands than GB 150-1998 Steel Pressure Vessel, 7. 1. 2. 1 of the standard elliptical head of the thickness limit is put forward. Also, in some cases, formula 7. 1 of GB 150 - 1998 Steel Pressure Vessel is not qualified for the thickness calculation of bottom head when doing internal pressure tower design, it should be employed. According to the mass transfer process of the Vertical Sieve Tray and some experimental relational expressions, linking the design data and running result of stripping stage in benzene-stripping tower, the effect of different-shape caps, diverse caps array and gas velocity in tray hole on the liquid lift-up and the tray efficiency of the Vertical Sieve Tray were analyzed. It concludes that compared with the others caps shape and caps array, the rectangle caps with distributing board are in phalanx arrangement and can hold the gas velocity in tray hole at 8.0-15.0 m/s, which can effectively increase the liquid lift-up and tray efficiency. Using it in the practical design of the Vertical Sieve Tray, the better liquid lift-up and tray efficiency can be obtained. Source
