Research purposes: The heavy haul railway station design is closely related to the characteristic of coal transport corridor and transportation organization, it's different from ordinary railway. According to the example of Mengxi-Central China railway coal transport corridor, the paper's purposes are to find the matters needing attention and solutions about the study on route scheme of railway terminal, combining with the programming of concentrated transportation system, the design on combinational station. Research conclusions: From the research on the haul railway station design, it is concluded: (1) The route scheme of railway terminal should be determined with the function of project, the main technical standards and the influence of city planning. (2) The concentrated transportation system is consisted of the relevant line of railway net, special line and collection station. The station design should be considered with programming of concentrated transportation system, and set sufficient space for development. (3) The combinational station should be determined by the traffic organization principles, if necessary, it should choose appropriate layout according to the mainline traffic characteristic. (4) The paper analyzes the characteristics of heavy haul railway station design, the method of study on route scheme of railway terminal and the layout of combinational station in this paper can provide the reference to the other heavy haul railway project. Research purposes: In the design process, the phenomenon that feasibility estimation exceeds pre-feasibility(proposal) estimation, the preliminary design budgetary estimation exceeds feasibility estimation often occur. How to make each stage estimates or budget preparation both accurate and reasonable and can meet the requirements of investment control in each stage, is a relatively difficult technical problems the industry faces, and stakeholder concern and often discussed. Based on the urban rail transit project cost control problems and the main factors conducted a comprehensive analysis, this paper studies identified specific measures of urban rail transit comprehensive cost control, forms a more systematic investment index control reference system in cost control aspects. Research conclusions: By study the following conclusions are drawn: (1) For urban rail transit projects, it is a cost control system engineering, project cost must be full life cycle management system. (2) Specific measures to control the overall cost of urban rail transit include decision-making reasonable estimates, implementation of quota design, construction change control, truthfully reflect the completion of settlement construction cost. (3) This system has some guidance and reference for investment estimation, preparation and review of the proposed budget of the project bidding and preliminary design etc. Source

Research purposes: The torsion irregularity will make adverse effect on the driving stationarity, running safety and comfort as one of the track geometry irregularity. This paper is based on the vehicle dynamics and finite element method of dynamics of rail, and makes rolling stock and rail as a whole system by using the wheel rail relation as the connection. With the help of computer numerical simulation and general finite element dynamic analyze software ANSYS/LS-DYNA, the model of a vehicles-line coupling model with track torsion irregularity is established to research the influence of different amplitude of the torsion irregularity. The proposed value of track torsion irregularity's safety limit is put forward. Research conclusions: (1)With the amplitude of the torsion irregularity increasing, the vertical accelerations of the car-bodies, the bogies, the wheels, the rails and the slab are increasing. Under the good damping effect of vehicles' primary and second suspension systems, the amplitude of car-bodies' acceleration is not very large , so the torsion irregularity can't make significantly effect on the comfort of passengers.(2)At the same time, from the viewpoint of the running safety, the amplitude of the torsion irregularity should not be more than 2mm.(3)The track torsion irregularity's safety limit proposed in this paper can provide the valuable reference to the design of double-block ballastless track and also provide theoretical direction for the maintenance and repair of our country track geometry. Research purposes: The minimum headway of trains is an important technical standard in the railway survey and design. The common passenger train running on passenger dedicated line (PDL) has big influence on the headway between trains. This paper mainly analyzes the type of coach, passenger train composition and train operation control system, and presents the calculation method and model for the headway between the EMU and common passenger train for providing the reference to the survey and design of passenger dedicated line. Research conclusions: Based on the technologies of the train control system level 2 (CTCS-2), the train running monitor and record device (LKJ) and the ground signals, the analyses and calculations were made for the minimum headways between trains into the Yuncheng North Station of Datong-Xi'an PDL by using the calculation model. The calculations show the 3 minutes headway of the arrival-running through, the 3 minutes headway of the arrival-arrival and the 3 minutes headway of the running through-departure between the common passenger train and the EMU can be realized. And the 5 minutes headway of the departure-departure between the EMU and the common passenger train can be realized. Source

Research purposes: More and more excavations with different excavation depth have appeared, Researching the strain and stress of the supporting structure in the conditions of different depth of excavation, a finite element analysis model built on Ansys is proposed in the paper, which provides an important reference for the design. Research conclusions: (1) The stress and strain of supporting structures change with pit excavation, nearby the pit plane, the value reach to maximum. (2) The result shows that there is the great difference between the stress and strain of supporting structures on two sides. So it's necessary to calculate and analyse supporting structures on two sides separately while design the unbalanced excavation. (3) This paper provides valuable reference to design the unbalanced excavation. Source
