A pneumatic tire is provided that is capable of improving wet performance, dry performance, and uneven wear resistance in a well-balanced manner. In the pneumatic tire, for which a mounting direction is designated when the tire is mounted on a vehicle, a first main groove and a second main groove extending in a tire circumferential direction are provided in a tread portion. A distance GL1 of the first main groove is set so as to be 6% or less of a ground contact half width TL/2, a distance GL2 of the second main groove is set so as to be from 40% to 65% of the ground contact half width TL/2, and a first rib, a second rib, and a third rib are defined in the tread portion. Further, a plurality of first lug grooves, a plurality of second lug grooves, a plurality of third lug grooves, a plurality of fourth lug grooves, and a plurality of fifth lug grooves are provided in the tread portion, each of the first lug grooves being positioned between a ground contact edge on an inner side of the vehicle and the second main groove and both ends thereof being closed, one end of each of the second lug grooves being communicated with the second main groove and the other end thereof being closed, one end of each of the third lug grooves being communicated with the first main groove and the other end thereof being closed, each of the fourth lug grooves being positioned between a ground contact edge on an outer side of the vehicle and the first main groove and both ends thereof being closed, and each of the fifth lug grooves being positioned between the ground contact edge on the outer side of the vehicle and the fourth lug groove and both ends thereof being closed.

Provided is a mold cleaning system which makes it possible to prevent scratches on a molding surface while efficiently removing dirt therefrom without requiring a hand operation by a person, even for molds having complicated molding-surface shapes. On the basis of an identification mark (D) assigned to a mold (11) and detected by a mark detector (3a) when cleaning the mold (11), the mold cleaning system obtains shape data for the molding surface (12) of the mold (11) which is stored in a database (8), and on the basis of the obtained shape data, the mold cleaning system controls the movement of arms (6a, 6b) using the control device (7), moves a laser head (4) along the molding surface (12) thereof while irradiating with a laser beam (L) supplied by a laser oscillator (2), and as a result, removes the dirt (X) adhered to the molding surface (12).

A method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire and a manufacturing device for a pneumatic tire capable for suppressing heat degradation in a base tire and forming a tread portion with high dimensional precision. A rigid inner mold (2) made of metal is brought into contact with a tire inner surface across an area corresponding to a tread portion (TR) of the base tire (BT), the strong rigid inner mold (2) supporting the base tire (BT) from the inner side. In this state, unvulcanized rubber (R) is injected into a cavity (11) of a tread mold (10) that covers an outer circumferential surface of the base tire (BT) corresponding to the tread portion (TR). Via vulcanization of this unvulcanized rubber R, a tread portion (TR) is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the base tire (BT) and the tread portion (TR) is integrated with the outer circumferential surface.

A pneumatic fender and a mouth piece metal for a pneumatic fender with significantly enhanced maintainability wherein a safety valve can be attached and detached and a confirmation test of the valve opening pressure of the safety valve can be performed on the pneumatic fender while in use, and the labor and time required for these operations are greatly reduced. An open/close valve (9) is fixed at a position in which a through hole (7a), formed in a dividing wall (7) constituting a receiving chamber (8), is closed by closed position fixing members (5a), a safety valve (6) is isolated from a cavity (2a) of a fender bladder (2) by a receiving chamber (8), the safety valve (6) being able to be detached and attached while the pneumatic fender (1) is in use; a confirmation test of a valve opening pressure of the safety valve (6) is performed by opening a receiving chamber open/close valve (12a) and raising an internal pressure of a cavity (8a) of the receiving chamber (8) to a pressure threshold (Pm) via a receiving chamber communication passage (12), and the open/close valve (9) is fixed at a position in which the through hole (7a) is open by open position fixing member (5b), thus allowing the safety valve (6) to function as normal.

In order to reduce weight and cost while maintaining the mounting strength of fixtures on a wall panel, a storage rack (10) is mounted on a wall panel (18) via a reinforcing thin sheet (24) and a synthetic resin rivet (26). Leg pieces (2804) of the pre-assembled rivet (26) are inserted into the rivet insertion hole (25) from the mounting hole (1602) in the storage rack (10), and a flange portion (2802) is brought into contact with a second vertical panel (16). An expanding shaft portion (30B) of the expansion member (30) is pushed into an inner peripheral portion of an expanded member (28), forming leg piece parts (28A) expanded to a dimension larger than the diameter of the rivet insertion hole (25) on the leg piece (2804) parts projecting from the reinforcing thin sheet (24).

A method of manufacturing a marine hose that includes a sponge layer and has good appearance. A method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire and a system for manufacturing a pneumatic tire capable of placing a green tire in a mold attached to a vulcanization device with high precision. The method includes placing a bladder device (1) including a vulcanization bladder (2) at a holding position outside a mold (13); inserting the vulcanization bladder (2) in a green tire (G) with a tire axis central position of the green tire (G) and a shaft central position of the vulcanization bladder (2) aligned, and aligning a central position in a tire width direction of the green tire (G) and a central position in a shaft direction of the vulcanization bladder (2); in a state positioned as such, supporting the green tire (G) with the vulcanization bladder (2) by inflating the vulcanization bladder (2) to a predetermined green tire supportable internal pressure and bringing the vulcanization bladder (2) in contact with an inner surface of the green tire (G); transporting the green tire (G) together with the bladder device (1) to the vulcanization device (11) and setting the green tire (G) together with the bladder device (1) in the mold (13); inflating the vulcanization bladder (2) to a predetermined vulcanization internal pressure, which is higher than the predetermined green tire supportable internal pressure; and vulcanizing the green tire (G).
