Adjusting the position of 1# roller can improve the straightening quality of the plates when straightening the plates with a wide range of specification on a 11-roller plate level. Through analyzing the force state of the plate near the entrance roller in the straightening process, the corresponding mechanic model of the straightening process was established and the influence to the position of the zero-moment point between the 1# roller and the 2# roller when adjusting the position of 1# roller was analyzed. Combining with the relationship between the bending deflection and relative curvature, analysis was made for the influence to the relative bending curvature near the 2# roller when varying the position of the zero-moment point between the 1# roller and 2# roller. It's found that adjusting the position of the 1# roller could straighten the plate with large range of thickness and promote quality.
