Composite laminated plate and honeycomb sandwich are two common composite material structures on airplane. Finite element simulation analysis and static test are applied to contrast the mechanical properties of antennae in the two different composite materials loaded by the same addition loads, also test the electrical function of antennae in the two structures loaded by the same addition loads. The contrast result shows that honeycomb sandwich is better than laminated plate either on mechanical or dielectric properties to some extent, which shows that embedding antenna into honeycomb sandwich is better on airplane to some extent. Mesh size is important for numerical simulation accuracy and calculate time of large transport aircraft. In this paper, the order of magnitude mesh size requirements for the large transport aircraft low speed dynamics flow field CFD(computational fluid dynamics)simulation were discussed. The relationship among the aerodynamic results' accuracy, the mesh size and the mesh distribution was analyzed. By comparing the CFD results of different mesh sizes with the test data, we can draw a conclusion: to make the CFD results practicable in engineering, the required mesh size for clean wing-body configuration should be more than 5.8 million; and for the landing configuration with complicated high-lift devices, the mesh size should be at least more than 15 million.
