Unconfined hemispherical liquid gas cloud is formed through plastic membrane. Liquid gas clouds with different concentrations are ignited by spark plug or blasting fuse to study the shock effects of liquid gas cloud explosion caused by different ignition methods. The experimental results show that the liquid gas cloud is deflagrated under weak ignition condition, the limit range of blasting concentration exists, and the deflagration pressure is inverse proportional to standoff distance; on the other hand, the liquid gas cloud detonate under strong ignition condition, of which over-pressure is related to standoff distance, gas cloud concentration and strong ignition energy. ©, 2014, China Ordnance Society. Based on the static compression test, the dynamic mechanical behavior of polyurethane foam materials (PFM) with different strain rate was systematically studied on the universal material test machine of INSTRON-1185. The dynamic mechanical properties of PFM were analyzed based on the test results. The complete dynamic stress-strain curves of PFM under high strain rate were obtained, the dynamic mechanical behavior of PFM was qualitatively analyzed, and the relationship between dynamic mechanical behavior and the strain rate were systematically studied. Then the dynamic constitutive equation considering the strain rate effect of PFM were obtained and the relationship between the static mechanical parameters and the dynamic mechanical parameters were also obtained, which provides a reference standard for the design. A series of experiments on biological damage effects of blast wave on sheeps were carried out in an analog chamber under open and closed conditions using the complex blast wave generated by TNT explosive in a blast wave simulator facility. Two different blast waves of type A and type B were achieved under open and closed conditions respectively. The test results show that the two waves are obviously different in waveform, duration, law of distribution and damage effects. The range of the injury threshold values of animals under the action of complex wave was obtained by medical analysis of the test data and damage levels. Source
