An analysis is made of the dispatching operation business security mistake prevention management specification requirements and the current mainstream development mode of security anti-false application. It is proposed that the relevant anti-error safety application mode of anti-fault security check be called in different links of the procedures with the scheduling of switching operation procedures and the standard operation procedure (SOP) as the main line. And a detailed description of specific design and implementation is presented. The anti-error management of SOP is seamlessly blended with anti-false technology such as safety checking and calculation, realizing the anti-error safety of the whole procedure of dispatching operation business.

Relay setting computation is a fundamental task for power grid safety. To meet the construction requirements of the large-scale operation system, Jiangxi Power Dispatch Center has realized province-prefecture-county integrated relay protection setting calculation on the operation management system (OMS). Integrated setting calculation database is established, and 'one grid, one set of data, multiple systems sharing' is realized. Data merging between province, prefecture and county dispatch centers is completed, and 'county operator compute, prefectural operator check' is achieved. Setting calculation management process is improved, and closed-loop management in dispatch center as well as between dispatch center and operating department is realized. The contents presented have been successfully applied in an all-round way in Jiangxi power grid, and the whole process management level of province-prefecture-county setting calculation is enhanced. ©2014 State Grid Electric Power Research Institute Press.

The modern power system is growing rapidly in the context of constant social development and economic growth, as a result, power grid tends to run in more complex modes. To resolve the problems, such as lack of effective prejudgment for power accidents, and unablility to effectively and quickly define the power equipment state, a new electric power emergency command system is proposed. The system has been designed based on “One Center, Two Host Lines, Three Links and Multiple Platforms”. It cores the unified command for system security, realizes the closed-loop control for emergency disposal of risks and failures, ensures a well analyzed put-in-place control, and achieves the linkage of overall system. Depending on this system, the operating staff in charge of grid control can be of great capacity in control of volume growth and accidents handling, besides on-time disposal capacity against grid accidents. © 2016 Taylor & Francis Group, London.

This paper discusses a variety of solutions and analyses and the respective advantages and disadvantages based on construction problems of regulators in the distribution network fault analysis system. Based on dispatching operation management system (OMS), the construction of distribution network fault analysis scheme is proposed. On the basis of sharing data with other systems, according to the real-time state of power network, and using the boil-down method, the scheme has realized fault diagnosis and location. In order to realize this scheme, the key technologies of the mode number map integration and distribution network fault auxiliary analysis are investigated and the overall design completed. It is proved in practices that the scheme is not only able to effectively support distribution network fault diagnosis, but also able to carry out the fusion of distribution network scheduling with repair command.

In the overall framework of smart grid dispatching and control systems, a vertical multistage three-dimensional interconnection framework of the operation management system (OMS) is designed and developed with electric power dispatching workflow as the process describing specification, E language file as the data interactive carrier, message mail as data interactive tools, and the operation and management of demand as the guidance. By using the framework, the longitudinal operation process of the dispatching mechanism and trans-safety zone horizontal operation integration are realized, so as to achieve intact, closed-loop, and integral operation while realizing horizontal data sharing with the management and maintenance system (PMS).

With the rapid development of power industry in recent years, the ability of electricity employees are increasingly high requirements. Hence, how to select qualified electric power personnel and to let them obtain the knowledge to meet the job requirements has become a significant issue in power industry. In order to overcome the weaknesses of traditional training, this paper proposed a training method for new electric power staffs based on the analysis of the memory curve and improved calculation application. Through the development of training programs, organizing a strong memory of learning methods and steps, and creating high-quality questions, the training promotes students to learn the knowledge and skills in a short period. The traditional education and training in the power industry is thought to be ineffective, high cost, and unpractical due to the various engineering conditions. Accordingly, a multimedia animation technical training system was developed based on years of training experience. The system utilizes a variety of multimedia animation technology which makes the training simple and vivid, as well as saving costs in traditional training.
