The article is devoted to harmony of flowers in the suit and to the law of creation of color composition; to the decision monochrome compositions, allowing creating illusion of polychrome and neologism in the field of chromatics. The short history of usage of flowers in clothes is stated in the article; systems of the coloristic analysis, showing interrelation between color and character of the person, and also possibility of the combination of certain color with other flowers. The authors give characteristic to each color.

On the basis of results of experiments on stretching of a cotton yarn nonlinear dependences of the stretching force on longitudinal deformation of a thread are received. It is assumed that change of mechanical characteristics of a yarn is the reason of manifestation of nonlinear deformation of a cotton yarn at stretching and changes of the module of deformation depending on values of longitudinal deformation are defined.

We have synthesized a polymeric quaternary ammonium salt of β-methacryloylethyl-Ndimethyl(allyl)ammonium bromide (β-MAEDAB) based on reaction of N,Ndimethylaminoethylmethacrylate with allyl bromide. We have developed a water-soluble polymeric composition based on the polyquaternary salt of β-MAEDAB combined with glycerol for treatment of natural fibers (cotton and wool) and leather (cowhide and goatskin). We have studied the physical and chemical properties of aqueous solutions of the polymeric composition and have determined the optimal formula for the composition to use for finishing fibers and leathers. We have studied the physical and mechanical properties of natural fibers and leathers modified by the polymeric composition based on a polyquaternary salt. © 2012 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc.

The paper describes the behavior of the system of geometrically nonlinear drill columns under the action of dynamic loads. The authors used the finite element method to solve the boundary value problems. The forms of the beam in the transverse direction were expressed by cubic Hermite polynomials. It has been found out that nonlinearity of the column may substantially change the character of oscillatory processes in its transverse direction. The loss of stability may occur during slip kicking at high values of nonlinearity. © 2016 The Authors, published by EDP Sciences.

Shot hardening is simulated by the single impact of a rigid spherical particle on a flat steel surface (an elastic halfspace). The corresponding results of thermophysical analysis are presented.
