The rotation of a bearing is suppressed without the need for a projecting portion on an outer circumferential surface of an arc portion in the bearing. Bearing 10 includes arc portion 11 in which a cross section orthogonal to an axial direction has an arc shape, and rotation suppressing portion 12 and rotation suppressing portion 13 that extend respectively from a first end and a second end of an arc in arc portion 11 and include a portion projecting outward from a circumcircle of arc portion 11 in the cross section orthogonal to the axial direction.


There is provided an oil feed member capable of preventing lubricant from being excessively fed from an oil feed member to lubrication portions of valve gears, and a lubricant feed mechanism for an engine provided with the same. An oil feed member for feeding lubricant to lubrication portions of valve gears 30 for opening and closing intake valves 31B and exhaust valves 31A of an engine 1, the oil feed member including: an upper panel member 110 and a lower panel member 120 laid over each other; and an oil feed passage 102 formed by recessing laid surfaces of the upper panel member 110 and the lower panel member 120, wherein the oil feed passage 102 includes basis oil passages 150 formed on a downstream side, and an introduction oil passage 130 formed on an upstream side and having a smaller lubricant flow area than that of the basis oil passages 150.

There is provided a lubricant feed mechanism capable of improving the mechanical efficiency of a supercharger. A lubricant feed mechanism 1 for feeding lubricants A1 and A2 to an engine and a supercharger 130 mounted on the engine includes a block-side oil passage 14 for feeding the lubricant A1 to a cylinder block 110 of the engine, a block-side oil pan 10 that is disposed in a path of the block-side oil passage 14 and stores the lubricant A1 flowing through the block-side oil passage 14, a head-side oil passage 24 for feeding the lubricant A2 to the supercharger 130, and a head-side oil pan 20 that is disposed in a path of the head-side oil passage 24 and stores the lubricant A2 flowing through the head-side oil passage 24, the block-side oil passage 14 and the head-side oil passage 24 being configured to be independent of each other.


Provided are an oil feed member that makes it possible to ensure a wide distance between oil passages and to achieve space saving in the oil passages and a lubricant feed mechanism of an engine provided with the oil feed member. An oil feed member 100 includes a lubricant passage and a plurality of discharge ports 134 (134a to 134d) that are formed on the downstream end of the lubricant passage and discharge lubricant flowing through the lubricant passage to a lubrication portion. The lubricant passage includes a basis oil passage 150, a first upstream branch oil passage 125 that branches off from the basis oil passage 150 and allows lubricant guided to the discharge ports 134a and 134b to flow therethrough, and a second upstream branch oil passage 126 that branches off from the basis oil passage 150 and allows lubricant guided to the discharge ports 134c and 134d to flow therethrough.

Bearing 11 has base material 110 and coating layer 111. Base material 110 contains crank shaft 13 on an inner circumferential surface side. The inner circumferential surface of base material 110 is coated with coating layer 111. The inner circumferential surface side of base material 110 is coated with resin with thickness t, the resin is dried, and thereafter surface treatment is carried out such that multiple grooves C are provided on the surface of the resin so as to intersect with the direction of crank shaft 13, whereby coating layer 111 is formed. Peak portions B formed between adjacent grooves C come into contact with the outer circumferential surface of crank shaft 13 to support crank shaft 13. With bearing 11, the thickness of peak portions B at the center in the direction of the crank shaft 13 differs from the thickness of peak portions B at the end.

There are provided a copper alloy for a bearing and a bearing in which a Mn-Si compound is prevented from being broken and becoming a foreign matter. The copper alloy for a bearing and the bearing according to the present invention contain 25 wt% or more and 48 wt% or less of Zn, 1 wt% or more and 7 wt% or less of Mn, 0.5 wt% or more and 3 wt% or less of Si and 1 wt% or more and 10 wt% or less of Bi, the balance consisting of inevitable impurities and Cu, and are characterized in that the average width value among Mn-Si primary crystal particles dispersed in a sliding surface on which a counter shaft slides is 3 m or more.

In a method, in which a plain bearing alloy layer is bonded to a surface of a backing steel sheet, and, a Bi-based overlay layer is then deposited on the plain bearing alloy layer by electroplating, replacement of Bi with the backing steel sheet and deposition of Bi on the backing steel sheet are prevented. Prior to the step of electroplating of the Bi-based overlay layer, the following metals and the like are formed on at least the back surface of the backing steel sheet. An electrochemically more noble metal than Bi, an electrochemically more base metal than Bi and capable of forming a passivation state, or resin.
