The equitable total chromatic number of a graph G is the smallest integer k for which G has a A-total coloring such that the number of vertices and edges colored with each color differs by at most one. In this paper, we show that the flower snark and its related graphs have equitable total 4-coloring.

In the title letter, Y. Wang et al. analyzed the downlink coverage of small cells, deriving an erroneous new formula Lemma 1. Adducing apropos delineations, this letter, first of all, points out the flaw in the proof of the Lemma 1, and then, emends the two theorems, Theorem 1 and Theorem 2, which stand for the downlink coverage analysis. © 1997-2012 IEEE.

Most of the modern researches on animal behavior dates back to the mid seventies. There is no significant design or method for understanding "animal behaviour for earthquake prediction", though international researches have been carried out especially in China, Japan and USA. These researches mainly rely on particular animal behaviour changes due to several simulated earthquake environment and based on previous earthquake statistics. However, animal produces numeral behaviours, and it is ambiguous to rely on particular behaviour rather than elaborate system. This paper aims to describe the circular model of energy flow during earthquake, similar to a damping oscillator. The energy flow is compared to a power inverse law. The energy spread at long distances are linked to animal sensitivity level. Animal signals are produced in the form of acoustic, chemical, electromagnetic signals. These signals are important in applying for recognition of nearby calamities such as earthquake. Then methods of data collection for such parameters are emphasized along with the reason for targeting a group of species as reference - rather than many. Animals are sensitive to weak signals which are often unnoticed even by the subtle instruments and measuring techniques. So a method for earthquake prediction based on signal variations in nature and animal responses is proposed. The explicit reason for animal based prediction model is explained in terms of biological and physical factors. The data collection and processing method is an integrated model of different types of signal analysing techniques. An integrated processing method increases efficiency of the system through comparison and mathematical analysis. Animals react to environmental changes and their reaction accompanies different behaviour changes. This response to stimuli involves pheromone secretions and homoeostasis rate variations. An earthquake induces such changes to highly sensitive species. An integrated analyser can be used to detect pheromone level along with other environmental variations to forecast a nearby disaster. © 2005 - 2012 JATIT & LLS. All rights reserved.

In King Oedipus (429 B.C.E) by Sophocles and Death of a Salesman (1949 A.D) by Arthur Miller, the central characters Oedipus and Willy Loman take extreme pride in their professions; their pride blinds them from seeing the reality of their circumstances, and it eventually brings their ruin. At the same time, the other characters also display their figurative blindness in both the tragedies. However, it is demonstrated that the protagonists do not succeed in executing their responsibilities as leaders and instead encircle themselves with personal conflicts, which affect their families and others. They strive to rise above their problems with a view to avoiding any possibility of failure. Accordingly, they imbibe willingness in their nature to bring happiness in their plain lives. Ironically, just like Oedipus, Willy Loman never realises the full truth of himself and goes through his life in a blind manner. © Australian International Academic Centre, Australia.

Due to the rapid growth of Internet and multimedia services, broadband fiber access technologies, such as Passive Optical Networks (PONs), come to the forefront of the research field. Network service providers mostly deploy Time Division Multiplexed (TDM)-PON everywhere in the world. In order to mitigate the future demand, researchers have investigated some nextgeneration PON systems, such as Wavelength Division Multiplexed (WDM)-PON and hybrid WDM/TDM-PONs. In this report, we propose the architecture of a self-restored hybrid WDM/TDM-PON. Due to the restorable capacity of the architecture, the availability of the PON system increases. Furthermore, the proposed architecture is a cost effective solution compared to the existing restorable PON architectures. Finally, we analyzed the power budget and signal quality of the proposed architecture, which proves the applicability of the proposed architecture to the access networks. © 2011 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.
