The precise time-integration method can give precise numerical results approaching the exact solution at the integration points. However, difficulty arises when the algorithm is applied to the non-homogeneous dynamic systems due to the inverse matrix calculation and the simulation of the applied loading. A new precise time-integration method i. e. the discrete precise time-integration method is proposed. The original equations are converted into homogeneous equations, thus the new method avoids the inverse matrix calculation. The accuracy of the method depends on the length of the time-step. The order of accuracy is controllable in the method. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the method. Source

Setting energy dissipator in the building has been in research for many years in the seismic field. One of the friction damper application problems is the damper setting place. There is great influence on energy dissipation in structure whether the damper setting place is optimized under the same number of the dampers. Eight degrees multi-in earthquake and rare earthquake dynamic time history analysis was done in an eight-floor frame by ANSYS finite element software. Three conditions of structural dynamic response are obtained: no friction damper, friction damper optimized by cycled optimum method, and friction under GA method. The results show that the structure, with friction damper installed, can markedly improve the seismic ability, and the optimization of friction damper installation place will be greatly helpful for reducing the structural dynamic response as the number of friction damper is determined. On April 14, 2010, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in Yushu, Qinghai Province, causing the collapse and damage of a large number of buildings. Based on the relative reports and information, the seismic damage cases for the different structural types in this earthquake are analyzed. While the lessons and experiences are summarized, several suggestions are presented: starting the project with the conception design, and choosing the most appropriate site and structure layout; obtaining material from local resources, to improve performance and researching a proper local building a seismic system; observing the local topography and geological conditions, source of materials, building traditions and nationality, etc. Making an overall plan, drawing up a standard local seismic atlas; training the construction workers, specifying the construction of buildings in villages and towns; reinforcing the seismic performance of buildings of great importance such as village schools and hospitals. On account of the higher failure rate of merger because of the domestic unsuccessful enterprise human resources integration, this paper established the evaluation index system of enterprise human resource integration after merger on the basis of establishing the weights by AHP. Some indicators of human resources reflecting the post-meger status are taken into consideration, including experts evaluation, questionnaire surveying and fuzzy statistics. The comprehensive evaluation model of human resources is also established by applying fuzzy conperhensive evaluation theory. This evaluation model is substantiated through the analysis of a practical example, in order to provide new thoughts and methods for the systematic analysis and comprehensive evaluation about human resources after enterprise meger. The pseudo-static tests were carried out on seven steel reinforced recycled concrete columns. The main design parameters of specimens were the recycled aggregate replacement ratio, axial compression ratio, and volumetric stirrup ratio. The results indicate that the incorporation of recycled aggregate doesn't reduce the horizontal bearing capacity, ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the specimens and has little effect on seismic performance. The seismic performance of steel reinforced recycled concrete column decreases significantly in high axial compression ratio. The ductility, horizontal bearing and energy dissipation capacity of steel reinforced recycled concrete column increases simultaneausly with the volumetric stirrup ratio. This study provides a reference for the application of steel reinforced recycled concrete column. Source
